It’s honestly wild to read some of the opinions people have about Alexia’s future. Read that again: Alexia’s future.

If she stays in Europe but joins a club that doesn’t compete directly with Barcelona, it’s a problem. If she joins a direct rival, it’s a problem. If she decides to move across the Atlantic, suddenly she’s “wasting her prime.”

For years, people have tried to control the narrative around her decisions, even after she openly admitted how exhausting it was to constantly live under those expectations.

At some point, we have to let Alexia choose what’s best for her.

As fans, our job isn’t to decide her future. It’s to respect her choice and appreciate the privilege of watching one of the greatest players of all time while we still can.

Those who truly support her will stand by her decision, wherever it takes her, and enjoy everything she still has left to give to the game. ❤️
