@BossC86 Yeah plenty, but it's the Beta and I can only speculate if it's the game just being buggy still, players abusing settings or partly what Kenny said.
So far, E-Day has got me interested long enough to want to play again or want more. However, it wouldn't be a Gears game without hitreg issues, input delays or crashes. π
I made level 50 my first night, got a few feeds but I also got dropped by stuff that made me quit 6 yrs ago.
This is a good example of feedback, I don't agree on all of it and think (unfortunately) that X is way too simple to misinterpret. This can read as another 'cry for help' from the comp. community for their own version of the game.
Regardless of all that tho, it's not negative.
E-Day PvP has potential, but currently is in a bad place. Here are issues I would like to see improved before launch. Excludes control scheme issues
(Tip: Play Modern for all controller people and lower inner deadzones to .05 )
Camera
1. Camera movements when doing actions should be removed. There is too much zooming in + out and shaking going on. Causes the camera to go into walls or "detach" from the character at times. The camera shouldn't move this much in PvP (especially with no FOV slider).
2. Sprint Camera sensitivity "decrease" feels horrible. Sprinting shouldn't lower my sensitivity from 24 to 5 because I am sprinting. My sensitivity should be my sensitivity for my camera at all times. The character being stiff during sprint is still fine.
Shooting/Movement
1. Aim assist is OP (even on Default). Specifically notice Magnetism on the Gnasher + Incinerator and Adhesion on rifles being higher than they should.
2. Up-A animation is slightly too fast. Wouldn't want this hard nerfed, but should be taken a notch down.
3. Slide needs a nerf. Sliding is by far one of the corniest things to die to. Especially with how the gnasher currently works. Would like to see the distance you can slide reduced OR reduce the startup speed on the animation. Maybe both
4. Stopping power should not be in this game. It has never felt good and will never feel good imo. Especially in a game like this where momentum plays a big factor in movement feeling okay.
5. Strafing speed while walking needs a buff. Current walking speed is too slow to be useable during gnasher fights.
6. Speed while moving on cover is extremely slow. Makes cover fights feel bad when there is no dodge ability while on cover. Fix: Allow players to run on cover or increase the base speed to pretty much be at a running speed when on cover.
Weapons
1. Retro Lancer and Incinerator both need nerfs. Incinerator is likely okay with an ammo nerf ( 6-> 3). Retro damage nerf is needed asap.
2. These might be the worst gnasher fights I have experienced in any Gears game. 99% of fights are done within 1-2 shots and are mainly chunk fights. Slide and Up A animation nerfs would help this issue, but the Gnasher also needs a rework. The chunk range and magnetism both need nerfs. Damage dropoff needs to be re-adjusted to have healthier and longer fights. Increase poke/ranged damage and reduce short range damage slightly.
Other
1. Spawns and Wave Respawn systems are both bugged. Almost every death is a long spawn (12 seconds) and causes for the flow of the game to feel horrible. Not sure why the Wave Respawn System returned, but individual respawns are the improvement here. Consistency and less BS.
2. Why is there a vulcan/Troika on the map lmao. There shouldn't be anything like this on a Ranked map. Leave all of that in social
3. With only 5 ranks, nobody should get placed higher than Gold in Ranked. Getting placed in Onyx is too high (I got placed Onyx 1).
If you made it this far, then I appreciate you. Not posting this to "complain" even though I know that's how people will take it. Would like to see this game survive for more than a month post launch.
@Pferdinand98 I thought those 2 were pointless remakes especially on the MP side because the lack of features that people these days are used to. Sure, for the campaign? First time with a new player? Cool, other than that, collecting dust. I'm just saying ppl have claimed remakes for years. π
Barely 24 hours past the 2 hour test and my timeline is already filled with people arguing and fighting over 'old vs new'. Guys come on man.
Let the past be the past, seriously. Let's move on.
Why even buy the game at the point that all you do is fight the rest of the community?
@Pferdinand98 I mean, maybe? I've heard that same msg so many times in the last x years I'm very skeptical. But it doesn't cost anything to have a little hope still I guess.
@TRMJ_ I agree, but it just seems nobody who's 'fighting' for their old ways and what they expected were gonna be the 'new ways' -- Actually want to understand that the old games are just not 1:1 to this game at all, practically everything has changed.
The good ol' @Tac_Com folks made a solid feedback video for Horde Siege. I haven't played enough myself to have any opinions but they definitely thought about it.

Had a chance to play, definitely very different. Especially the timing on certain mechanics and when not to use them. It's probably me but the sensitivity felt abit all over when you're doing certain moves. Can't wait for the weekend. π
@DaiKvarr I would agree, but I've witnessed TCs old habits for far too many years of my life and I haven't forgotten. I only recently got back into all this, maybe that's why I'm not that upset. The pre-order also gives actual early access prior to release, skins and so on.
I understand everyone's frustration about the Beta being only Horde and PvP after too but I do think it's a good choice because the majority of new players on any game these days gravitate towards co-op more than versus, especially if their only memories of versus are negative.
