Not to be a whiny complainer but why is it 2026 and the point of aim isn't tied to screen center?

This is most of what causes the 'floaty' aim feeling that most MNK players describe. Might look like a small difference but makes a huge difference with how gunplay/aiming feels overall

It should be the absolute standard to have it tied to center, at the very least make it a toggle setting like how corner slicing was

This server browser debate for Battlefield 6 is THE MOST IMPORTANT TOPIC we should all be discussing. Yes I'm glad the base game and the maps are good, and that's fantastic, but you know what can sink this Titanic real quick? That's right, that iceberg straight ahead with the words "Matchmaking" right on it.

It seems the current argument is: "The inherent problem with that model [Traditional BF4 servers] is you have servers running forever with no games going on...A hybrid solution [BF1-persistent side] is to be preferred" -David Sirland (X-8/10/2025).

So a HYBRID solution. MM for AOW & Portal (Verified and community server browser). Am I getting that right?

Riddle me this @tiggr_ How in the world will the Portal servers fill consistently when you have a majority of players joining A SEPARATE Matchmaking system in AOW? Are you telling me, people will have to join Verified Portal servers manually through the browser? You see that wont work right? You are literally splitting the player base and you know the majority will not join that Verified Portal server, BECAUSE THERE IS NO MATCHMAKING IN PORTAL!

Matchmaking in BF1 is what filled those servers, both official and community!

One of the biggest things that gave longevity to BF was custom servers and the browser.

Wanted no explosive big ticket metro? Done.

Wanted big maps only with insta vehicle spawn? Done.

Just want conquest size small infantry only? Done.

Each community brought something to the table. You knew what to expect and you learned the names in the games. A true sense of community buildings which is equally important.

The best server groups, and there were many, really took care of the bad eggs quickly. It was nice and it is missed.
