It seems like everything was better back in the day. Y’all jits can’t even enjoy yourselves without something crazy happening. The most we used to do back then was link up and f*ght. We so limited to stuff these days because they think the YNs gonna mess everything up. The city barely approves block parties or park events because they already know the outcome. Real talk, when I first came up with the “Duval Challenge” I tapped in with some of the bigger artists in the city but ain’t get no songs back… I was just trying to put the spotlight back on Jacksonville and bring the city together. Jacksonville’s biggest problem is finding venues to throw events at… I wanna do a pool party but it’s hard to rent a pool without it getting shut down. Thinking about doing a school reunion but no parks will approve it. It’s really hard to do anything out here, and all the clubs be locked in with the same promoters every week 😒
