@moelogo Well said bro.
One conversation at a time, the right information and approach will eventually emerge, ensuring clarity and protection from deceptive influences.
The last 6 months have been intense for me and my team at @sonymusicpubwestafrica and it's been a rewarding feeling seeing our plans come to Fruition. We are not even 2% done.
We embarked on the "Legend's Project" to support and protect the rights of legendary African writers and composers. It has been amazing to see how well things are already moving.
Yesterday, we officially announced the first batch of signings for our #LegendsProject
We are excited to welcome the following legends (and their estate) to the SMP family
Adewale Ayuba
Sikiru Ayinde Barrister
KWAM 1
Dagrin
Saheed Osupa
There will be more announcements to come in the next few weeks.
A special shout out to my team in Lagos @duzoraniel and @thegovn and the entire international office team that have supported us immensely.
We are excited about our activities for the next few months.

I'm excited to welcome @seyisodimu to the Sony Music Publishing Family!
The original song "Love Me Jeje" by Seyi Sodimu was released in 1997. In 2024, @temsbaby released "Love Me Jeje," and it has already crossed 75m streams on Spotify alone. Good music will always resurface, and we are excited to represent him and his catalogue.
Welcome to the SMP family!

One lesson I have learnt in my time working with Sony Music Publishing is that;
“Everything is difficult when you are new to it, the moment you master the process you wonder why you fidgeted in the first place”
The secret is always to be willing to learn.
I wish more husbands talked about how they truly feel... men in general, to be honest.
I do a few hangouts with men across the different circle of friends I engage, and sometimes, I just randomly give some of them hugs.
One of my guys once said to me... "wetin I go do na. Who I go turn to? Madame complain say I too dey hold things inside but when I tell her wetin I dey deal with she go start dey cry lol... then 1 hour later she go send me bill for things wey we need buy. Nobody dey come help me bro... you sef know"
Called him this evening to just check in on him, and he said "bro man... I needed this call oh... thanks so much, baba. "
It's something I will try to do more of... check on ma niggas
One of the most exciting things about this job is the process.
The search... the discovery... the development... establishing the writer and composer... success... growth and more. None of the things the general public sees before a song is realise is done behind the stage or TV screens. That's what makes it all special.
@mightyyout is an amazingly talented singer and songwriter, and we are thrilled to go on this journey with him.
MightyYout... Welcome to the SMP Nigeria! @SonyMusicPub West Africa
