I knew a group of people who I really only heard talk about society’s problems but never saw them actively contribute (this is most people). Not all have bad intentions. Like my old friends, they only did it for the plot, social bonding — virtue signaling. It’s “safe” for them.

It may be foreign for some but I’ve lived like this for a long time. There’s nuance, for me. Things that occur more than 25 miles from me, I don’t concern myself with. I don’t consume the “news” but I do stay up to date. Evil will be evil, I don’t binge watch it.
