Lord, may my perspective never prioritize numbers, but faithfully carry the whole Gospel to the world, reaching the lost. I'm dedicated to the Great Commission, not mere entertainment. Transformation and growth will follow. #GloryToJesus

I am profoundly blessed by this quote today.

[hbcharlesjr @hbcharlesjr]

Before you complain, count your blessings.
Before you give up, pray.
Before you speak, listen.
Before you decide, seek godly counsel.
Before you get angry, forgive.
Before you worry, worship.

THE RAINBOW FLAG:

The rainbow-colored "pride" flag was created by the late Gilbert Baker to represent the gay community in 1978. The irony of this flag is painful. As most know, in Genesis 6, we learn that God slaughtered humanity with the flood—for their pride—the very same pride we see in the LGBTQ community.

God's ammunition was rain, and His weapon was His bow—the rainbow. In God's mercy, He laid His weapon down in the sky as a promise to never flood the earth again.

But now, the LGBTQ community taunts God by boasting of their pride while waving a picture of the very weapon God used to annihilate man's pride. It is possibly the greatest cultural abomination in modern history.

But the Bible tells us, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life (Gal. 6:7-9).

God is a God of justice. Any person who believes they can boast in their sin will soon face the God who destroys sinners. Pray for the pride-flag waving fools of this world, for outside of Christ, we are all fools. Humanity's only hope is to lay down our pride—at the cross of Jesus Christ.

I stand in agreement

Church discipline is the subject of a wonderful article by Dr. Conrade Mbewe. For those coworkers and churchgoers who only pay attention to the negative aspect, which is restorative church discipline. Read this article. This article undoubtedly aided me greatly.

[The Gospel Coalition Africa @TGC_Africa]

Before the unpleasant—though sadly necessary—exercising of restorative church discipline, every Christian should play an active role in formative discipline. https://t.co/f0ogjqA0nE

If you have to give a carnival to get people to come to church, then you will have to keep giving carnivals to keep them coming back.

@CoachPdV @Springboks I still believe you are one of the best coaches our country produced. The media should also treat you objectively and not with their own bias

Help me, Jesus, to be RADICAL for YOU. Let me use the skill that God has given me! Lord, please use me.

Couldn't agree more with this quote from the prince of preachers

[Charles Spurgeon @_CSpurgeon_]

The law is for the self-righteous, to humble their pride. The gospel is for the lost, to remove their despair.

Jesus, keep me near the cross,
There a precious fountain;
Free to all, a healing stream,
Flows from Calv'ry's mountain.
Refrain:
In the cross, in the cross
Be my glory ever,
Till my ransomed soul shall find
Rest beyond the river.
