@SydelM1 @HHichilema Hey man... I do get your point and yes I have seen first hand of a Zambian contractor
1. Not paying workers on time
2. Doing substandard work
3. Running away with money.
Idk I guess people need to be vetted thoroughly before being given a contract. Based on merit
@cronhuncho@HHichilema Be that as it may, lots of graduates have ideas that could shift the construction industry but are forced to work under very bad conditions cause that's whats available.
@HHichilema Work is not given to us Zambians.
You can agree with me that in 9/10 major construction projects, our own Zambian firms are not at the helm. Please Bali what can you do to make a change to the current system in place?
@HHichilema Good morning Bali, so a friend myself and a friend graduated from the copperbelt University and started a construction firm. However most competition we face are not even from our own local companies, its most foreign investors/companies who get bids and the 20% sub contractor
During #UDC7 Celebrations of our 10 year anniversary, we saw Martha (the first female dancer of the crew) make a return to the stage with a special collaboration with Ejay & Jo.
