@Hyu_rayabusa@MartinMercenary Wow you know my eyes have really been opened. I have a whole new lease on life. My thousands of hours playing DOOM have been reframed. You are a real hero.
It's just really fucking annoying that a guy can't have an opinion without getting "erm actually". I genuinely don't give a shit about whatever happened in the 90s. They rebooted it with The Slayer as a faceless protagonist that represents an idea. A pixelated splash screen and a HUD is not equivalent with a fully featured 3D model with subtle face movements and mannerisms. The new narrative still works without giving him a face. I am having a shitty day. I am over worked and under fucked, sick to my stomach and some jester on the internet is telling me I have an attitude problem. Yeah hoss, I do have an attitude problem. Out of all of the successes in my life I have no one to share them with rendering them worthless. My only function is to produce and if I were to die tomorrow it would only be a mild inconvenience. I and everyone else is of 0 consequence. Fuck you, fuck me and at the end of the day I am still an insufferable loser.
I would literally take losing all of my shit for an engine that doesn’t run like dog shit.
All of my frames are USPS Ground Shipped to me individually. I’ve got a 5090 hoss
I think a WoW 2.0 just doesn't interest me in the way it's described. A reset? No thank you. All of your favorite characters are dead? No thank you. You lose all your things? No thank you.
A WoW 2.0 just sounds awful. Just stick with the expansions and lower the stakes a bit.
Yesterday I worked late. When I went out front to have my post-work smoke I saw a dog run through the parking lot. Didn’t think much of it other than “look at that dawg”. It was a black and white bull mix of some variety.
A few minutes later I hear a guy yelling “Spot!” frantically. I think about not getting involved at first but then I hear the guy whip his white Suburban into the parking lot, chirping the tires.
I walk over closer to the car and yell “The dog went that way, around that building”. There is another very similar building across the parking lot that has a through-way in the back. He floors it goes right back there.
I finish up my cigarette and get ready to bring my car around when in the distance I see the silhouette of the dog sitting in front of the door to the other building.
I didn’t see the guy around and figured he would miss seeing the dog there so I walked over.
Spot approached me and was very friendly. He was torn up pretty badly, road rash all over and a grass mark on his head as if he took a slide. I said “Hey buddy you alright?” And gave him some pets. He could still walk fine and although he seemed shaken up he wagged his tail and was receptive to me.
I figured that guy would drive back around soon enough so I stayed with Spot until the guy came tearing around the corner.
I waved him down and the guy pulled up, obviously frantic and shaken up. He said “Get your ass in the car! Are you retarded?! I’m going to tell your momma about your dumb ass!” Spot meekly but quickly jumped in the car.
The guy thanked me profusely for helping him and explained that Spot decided that 60mph down the feeder road was an excellent time to jump out of the window. I told him I checked Spot out and he was torn up pretty badly and that he oughta have him looked at. He said he would and drove off, vowing to not drive with the windows down anymore.
