@Nozza_ Potts clipping a 4 through mid-wicket and the commentator crying, “Shot away! What a great shot away!”
Or the same commentator describing Steve Smith as the “unlikeliest of bunnies” for Josh tongue when he’d just got him out for…138.
@SimonBrundish Could have something to do with playing two of the most physical teams in the league first two games? And one of those away at a cauldron. Not much time on the ball for anyone.
@ThatJamesCary Jonathan in 1 Sam 14. “Perhaps the Lord”. Saul and the Israelite army hiding and then Jonathan and his armour bearer climbing a hill, defeating 20 men and panic striking the whole Philistine army.
@GShaneMorris@DZRishmawy@seraphim199 I feel similarly about Joseph recounting his dreams to his brothers and parents. I don’t think anything in the text suggests that he’s a spoilt boy boasting. Jacob’s favouritism seems to be condemned as well as the murderous response of the brothers but not Joseph’s actions.
@dcsandbrook He missed out “Very much a friend of the show” and Tom constantly trying to establish a link between an event of history and his cricketing accomplishments
