I am merely one mind, in the vastness of the universe, on a planet filled with endless thoughts, actions, dreams.... My opinion does not matter but to those who choose to have it matter.
If you stop by my page.
Hi. Thanks for adding a little bit of meaning to my thoughts.
Lindsey Graham died Friday & his sister has already been sworn in. Remember when Mike Johnson refused to seat Adelita Grijalva for 50 days after she was elected? That is what we are fighting for in the midterms, a return to democracy & fairness and to remove fascist Republicans.
If you defend ICE killing people because they "didn't comply," then you're not allowed to bellyache when we call you a fascist.
You don't get to advocate for fascism and deny that you're fascist.
I am afraid that the United States is getting numb to the fact that we have a federal police force that is extrajudicially executing people in the streets with zero due process or accountability. This must stop!
Reminder that less than six months ago, the world was horrified when an additional 3 million pages, 180,000 images, and 2,000 videos were released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, revealing allegations of ritualistic torture and even cannibalism of babies.
Reminder that many of the files have not been released, and that those that have remain heavily redacted.
Reminder that the President of the United States is mentioned in the files more than 38,000 times.
Yet somehow, this has vanished from the news cycle.
We can’t let this get buried. We need to keep demanding answers.
There is no communist threat.
Voter fraud is not a real issue.
Immigrants are not the source of your problems.
These are merely the lies told by the corrupt and incompetent Republican politicians who are failing America.
🚨BREAKING: (Chicago suburb, St. Charles) ICE agents smashed a handcuffed man’s face into a stone wall, then assaulted a U.S. citizen, multiple times, once they realized they were filming.
In the video, multiple ICE agents have a man in handcuffs. While he is completely under their control, and not resisting, they smash his face into a stone wall.
A U.S. citizen begins asking for the man’s name, while filming... note that he is not interfering, blocking the agents, or preventing the arrest in any way…. But that doesn’t stop the ICE agent from chases after him, while another agent threatens him with a taser.
As the citizen is actively backing away, the agent continues walking toward him, and aggressively shoves him backwards.
Even after the detained man is being escorted to the vehicle… and the legal observer is nowhere near the agents, or their cars… that same ICE agent continues shoving the U.S. citizen for no apparent reason.
And while he is standing on the public sidewalk, another agent walks over and points a taser inches from him, and then turns around and points his taser at other innocent people, who are just standing and watching.
Americans have a First Amendment right to record government officials performing their duties in public. Threatening, intimidating, or assaulting someone because they are documenting law enforcement, violates that right.
And slamming a person face, who is handcuffed and not resisting, into a stone wall is excessive force.
This is exactly why it’s important to always record anytime you see ICE agents.
Because when there isn’t video evidence, we’re told to trust the government’s version of events. And more often than not, their version is filled with lies.
But when there is video, the people filming often become the next target… just for documenting what is happening.
And that’s what makes this so alarming.
This is happening across the country, almost every single day. Americans are watching videos of people being thrown to the ground, beaten, threatened, shoved, tased, and intimidated by federal agents… while never seeing anyone held accountable.
When a government refuses to investigate or discipline agents who violate people’s constitutional rights, it sends a message that they can keep doing it.
And that’s exactly what we’re seeing.
The Constitution means nothing if the people sworn to uphold it can violate it without consequence.
And as long as this administration refuses to hold ICE agents accountable, Americans should expect to keep seeing videos like this… because impunity breeds abuse.
The son of the man shot and killed by ICE:
I am Ronaldo Salgado, the oldest son of Lorenzo Salgado Araujo. I want to tell you about my dad. He was a hardworking family man. Let me tell you about my father's last day alive with as much detail as possible. My dad got dressed, grabbed his lunch and coffee, hugged and kissed my mom goodbye, slipped on his hat for the day, loaded his lunch, his work boots, his coffee in his work van. He patted our dog on his head goodbye and drove off to pick up his crew for work. He should've been picking up the last of his guys before heading to finish up construction on some houses. 5 minutes later, unbeknownst to all of us, my dad had been shot inside his van by ICE agents in unmarked cars.
-no criminal history
-was at his job as a construction worker
-has three sons who are us citizens
ICE said he tried to ram them with his car. Every time they’ve ever said this it has come out that they lied
This is the judge who ruled that I was not allowed to speak my abuser's name out loud. Forever. Past, present, and future.
If I wanted to warn another woman about the man who hurt me, I faced $10,000 in fines and jail time for each warning.
It's adorable that he thought I wouldn't fight back with everything I had.
It took me 441 days to get it overturned. And now I make up for lost time by making him famous. Meet Judge Pickerill. The man who stole my voice to protect a serial predator.
Flock and Flock-like cameras track where law-abiding people go, who they visit, and how they live - all without a warrant.
I attempted to stop this with an amendment, which unfortunately failed recently in Committee; that’s not the end of this, though. The mass surveillance of the American People must end. Call your legislators.
STOP THE FLOCK.
It is not defamation. Not even close.
It is not false to state that a man who forcibly inserted his fingers into a non-consenting woman’s vagina has raped her. That’s because, as the distinguished district judge in Carroll v. Trump explained more than once, and as dictionaries confirm, the word “rape” is broad enough to encompass forcible, involuntary penetration of the vagina or anus by fingers or some foreign object, even if under the specific criminal code provisions of some (but not all) jurisdictions, non-penile penetration is categorized as sexual abuse or sodomy.
It is therefore not defamation to state that a man who, like @realDonaldTrump, was found unanimously by a federal jury to have forcibly inserted his fingers into a non-consenting woman’s vagina, is an adjudicated rapist. Because he is.
But even if the word “rape” were categorically defined to exclude non-penile penetration (which it is not), the description of Trump as an adjudicated rapist would not be actionable under the defamation-law doctrine of “substantial truth,” which provides that, if the gist, or sting, of a challenged statement is not significantly different in reputational effect from the actual facts, there can be no liability. And here there can be no serious argument that committing forcible sexual abuse is any less morally reprehensible or reputationally damaging than committing forcible rape.
So it’s a fact and not defamatory to state that Donald Trump is an adjudicated rapist. He may be an adjudicated digital rapist, to be more precise, but he’s still a rapist, and it’s long past time that people stop pretending that he isn’t and wasn’t found to be one—or that forcible sexual abuse is somehow more tolerable than forcible rape.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Six months, and DOJ never opened a criminal probe into Good's death at all. Dhillon looked into investigating Good's widow instead. Six federal prosecutors quit over it. An FBI agent quit over it.
Minnesota is doing the job Washington refuses to do, and doing it without the evidence Washington is required to hand over. Good's car is still in an FBI warehouse. Pretti's phone is still withheld. A judge in an unrelated assault case had to order records released before anyone outside DHS could see them.
Hennepin County calling this "unprecedented in American history" is not rhetoric. It is a description.
2:00 PM: 🇺🇸 U.S. judge ordered the DOJ to unredact Jeffrey Epstein files which name alleged co-conspirators.
5:00 PM: 🇺🇸 Trump REJECTED Court order to hand over redacted Epstein files.
8:00 PM: 🇺🇸 Trump began bombing Iran. The war restarted.
You connect the dots.
I spoke with my dear friend Mitch McConnell for 20 minutes this morning and he told me he supports universal healthcare, free college, raising the minimum wage and housing for all.
I'd be cautious about this reporting, even with modern medical technology it's incredibly difficult to tell the difference between a braindead person and an ordinary Republican.
For anyone who is worried about the communist threat facing America, here is some important information:
No one was eating the dogs or the cats.
No country emptied it's asylums or prisons into America.
Schools were not setting up litter boxes for kids.
America did not win the war in Iran over 30 times. It lost.
Other countries didn't pay the tariffs, you did.
DOGE didn't cut $2 trillion from the budget. It cost more than the tiny amount it did cut.
There is no communist threat. Not one person who has won a primary for Congress this year is a communist.
A political party that can't run on its record because it has been such a massive failure resorts to baseless fearmongering. That's all.
