🔹 ZANU-PF Paid $10,000 to Each MP on the Eve of the CAB3 Vote
While you were all sleeping, ZANU-PF paid its MPs US$10,000 each to entice them to vote for Constitutional Amendment Bill 3 (CAB3), in a vote likely to be held today.
The money was distributed through the office of the Chief Whip, Pupurai Togarepi.
ZANU-PF MPs were summoned back to Parliament yesterday evening to collect the money. ZANU-PF has been targeting eight MPs per province from its party.
As part of the incentive, President ED Mnangagwa has also pledged to give each MP three tonnes of rice to distribute within their constituencies.
The CCC MPs aligned with Sengezo Tshabangu were in distress yesterday afternoon, expressing their concerns through their Chief Whip, Charles Moyo. Meanwhile, some CCC MPs aligned with NC were the second group to be paid. ZANU-PF MPs rushed back to also secure their loot ahead of the polls.
So, the MPs are ready to sell their souls, their future, and the future of their children and country for US$10,000 and three tonnes of rice per constituency, which will only cover a paltry 3,000 families at 1 kg each! What nonsense is this?
OUR DEAR MPs, THIS IS THE DEVIL YOU ARE FACING. LISTEN VERY CAREFULLY: DO NOT GO TO PARLIAMENT ANYMORE WITH EFFECT FROM TODAY (THURSDAY, 11 JUNE 2026), AS THEY ARE GETTING READY TO TRAP YOU INTO VOTING FOR CAB3, THE CONSEQUENCES OF WHICH YOU ARE NOW WELL AWARE OF!

Agency Gumbo represents the kind of opposition Member of Parliament that every democracy needs. We are all Zimbabweans, but people hold different political views, ideologies and visions for the country. Those citizens deserve representatives who can clearly, intelligently and fearlessly articulate their positions in Parliament.
His contribution during yesterday’s debate on the controversial Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 demonstrated exactly what an effective opposition MP should do, scrutinise legislation, challenge those in power, and give voice to the concerns of the citizens he represents.
Agency Gumbo showed the importance of having opposition legislators who are informed, articulate and prepared to defend the constitutional principles and democratic values they believe in.
A healthy democracy is not built on conformity. It is strengthened when different viewpoints are robustly debated, tested and heard.
Gumbo’s contribution to the Constitutional Amendment Bill No. 3 debate was a reminder of the vital role that a strong and credible opposition representative plays in any democratic society.

Zimbabwe Defence Forces role as political arbiter and power broker removed
By Ruvimbo Muchenje
The Zimbabwe Defence Forces (ZDF)'s role as the country's political arbiter, power broker and kingmaker is now being decisively removed, changing the country's political landscape and its volatile dynamics in the process.
This will have far-reaching political implications as the Zimbabwean military has been a power broker for a long time due to sustained militarisation of politics and the professional bureaucracy, particularly under the late former president Robert Mugabe and subsequently President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
The army's critical role in local politics dates back to the days of the liberation struggle, with the Mgagao Declaration of 1975 that paved way for the late former president Robert Mugabe to seize power in Zanu from Ndabaningi Sithole being an example of that influence.
For decades, the army has been the ultimate political arbiter, bound by Section 212 of the constitution to defend both the nation's territorial integrity and "to uphold" the constitution, giving it authority to self-deploy under the guise of upholding the supreme law as it did during the November 2017 coup which first - ironically - brought Mnangagwa to power before he legitimised himself through subsequent elections in 2018 and 2023.
However, Constitutional Amendment Bill (No.3) introduces major legal changes to the country's political, electoral governance architecture, most notably extending presidential and parliamentary terms, allowing parliament to elect the President, and subtly altering the constitutional mandate of the ZDF.
The amendments currently going through parliament propose a critical, yet subtle change that is far-reaching.
The words "to uphold" the constitution are being stripped away, replaced by a mandate to act simply "in accordance with the constitution".
By altering the specific phrasing of the army's duties and allowing parliament to elect the president instead of through a direct popular vote, Mnangagwa's government is effectively clipping the military’s institutional wings.
Presenting his key second reading speech on Constitutional Amendment (N0.3) Bill to parliament on Wednesday after he had introduced the proposals to parliament the previous day, Ziyambi said the army must act "in accordance with the constitution", not have a special responsibility to "uphold the constitution" because "they are not a parallel constitutional authority".
Ziyambi said:
"I now turn to the function of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces, Clause 16.
Clause 16 amends the words that describe the function of our Defence Forces, replacing the phrase, 'To uphold this Constitution' with the phrase, 'In accordance with this Constitution'.
It has been suggested that this weakens the constitutional position of the military.
The truth is precisely the opposite.
The amendment strengthens the subordination of the military to the constitution and I want to explain why b ecause the point is important and it is widely misunderstood.
Consider the question honestly.
Either the Defence Forces are subject to the Constitution, or they are a core equal guardian of it, standing alongside the elected President, the elected P arliamen t and the courts.
If they are subject to the constitution, as in every constitutional democracy, they must be in accordance with the constitution, which is the correct exp ression of that subordination and the old wording which cast the military as an ind ependent upholder of the constitution in its own right was the anomaly.
The institution whose function is to uphold the constitution, is the elected and appointed civilian institutions.
The President takes an oath to uphold it. Judges take an oath to uphold it. Members of this House take an oath to uphold it.
The Defence Forces protect the nation within the constitutional framework that those civilian institutions uphold and interpret.
They are not a parallel constitutional authority."
The strength of our nation lies in an active, vigilant citizenry.Let me be crystal clear once more: Violating our Constitution is NOT A GAME!!!!Those who persist in this path should know that the wheels of justice may turn slowly, but they turn surely.
No amount of wealth, connections, or foreign passports will shield you from the consequences when the people finally reclaim their power.I retired from active service years ago, but my commitment to Zimbabwe remains total.
I will continue to speak truth to power, defend the Constitution, and stand with the ordinary men and women who built this country with their bare hands. To the CAB3 architects and all constitutional delinquents Retrace your steps while you still can. Serve the people. Respect the supreme law. History is unforgiving to those who place themselves above it.We are watching.

Over the past few days, I have been warning the Presidency, Parliament, and the judiciary that if they, as civilian leaders, fail to take responsibility for upholding the Constitution, an interregnum (vacuum) may emerge, creating conditions for the security services to take over and usher in the Third Republic in order to maintain stability in the country.
I want to reiterate this again: a Third Republic may be forced to reluctantly step in to maintain national security if we, the civilians, demonstrate an inability to govern the nation in a manner that preserves public order and peace.
However, if this new republic—which is organised and already on standby—grudgingly takes over due to dereliction by the civilian leadership, it has already prepared a new law entitled the CAB3 Willful Violation & Criminal Regulations Act to punish those who willingly or knowingly collaborated in the mutilation of the Constitution and the abrogation of their oath of office, thereby rendering the republic ungovernable.
This law will become part of the Criminal Law (Codification and Reform) Act, just as the Patriotic Act was incorporated into the same legislation to punish those calling for sanctions against the country.
It proposes the retrospective application of the law from 16 February 2026. This means that those found to have participated in the willful violation of the Constitution from 16 February 2026 onwards may be held accountable should a change in administration occur. The minimum penalty will be ten years' imprisonment and the maximum penalty twenty years.
This draft Bill is a symbol that there is an organised system (deep state) ready to take over the country, and it serves as a warning of the consequences that will befall those attempting to mutilate the Constitution with impunity.
Zimbabweans at home must realise that whenever there is a situation that requires swift action with potential to trigger a revolution, Nelson Chamisa is DEPLOYED TO DIFFUSE PUBLIC ANGER by giving false hope. That is his tactical role as Mnangagwa's pacifier & "opposition" tool.
If you despised the call by Comrade Bombshell Geza to stop the ongoing FRAUD in our country, I have no kind words for you whatsoever, you are part of the problem. 📍
Only FOOLS will believe such nonsense! If this rubbish was important , then they would have called for the referendum… they must think people are stupid like their paid BOOTLICKERS!! 🚮🚮🚮
