@muke10101 There's no coherent way to discuss "lower stage not going extinct". And the current programs of resource nationalization under AES have been great for their socialist GDP, but detrimental to the environment. You could never hope for an ecologivlcal socialism in one country.
@muke10101 I think the ml argument for aes struggles the most in ecology. We have environmental realities that can't be defined away/dismissed as chauvinism. We can call anything AES if really want to, but if it maintains capitalist extractivism, then all the worse for socialism as a whole.
@Parasocialist_K@muke10101 This makes no sense unless you think ownership of the means of production and property are wholly divorced from political power. Which is... certainly an interesting take for a socialist.
@CarniolanLeshy I see a lot of communists both take the GDP seriously and believe the neoliberal belief that it reflects wellbeing. It's so bizarre, since arguably the rejection of this belief is essential to communist thought.
@tit5mcgee Oh, so you want jeff Bezos and his ultra leftists to start a white genocide and destroy legitimate working class movements? This is why we can't have unity, lib.
@NogoodChuck2@DreamLeaf5 It was originally colonial ideology that stated that indigenous people were a different species and that European setcol was just a natural next step in history. Which is exactly what is being repeated by people claiming that indigenous people had been in America forever.
@NogoodChuck2@DreamLeaf5 Well maybe we shouldn't let the discourse be set entirely by racists and pretend that somehow rejects colonialism. It doesn't. Denying migration is essential to colonial ideology.
@touchy1_ I see it as a consequence of her having no real power and one Avenue to get her message out.
Idk, if you're stabbing a teenager, and you let them ask you to stop, but you ignore them; from their perspective, they're still getting at least a chance tho ask not to be stabbed.
@LiberationPill Is this the part of the but where they say they're pro land back until you bring up how most south American countries have set-col histories? It's one of the quicker ways to get "indigenous people are CIA" threads going.
