playstation charged me for an mlb trial, refused to resolve it with me after multiple attempts and suspended my entire account when my credit card company sided with me. this is exactly why physical media matters. imagine having hundreds of games locked behind an account because you disputed one charge. you paid for those games, but sony still controls whether you can access them. that’s fucking ridiculous. i’ve never been happier to have sold my ps5, and sony can kiss my ass!

@PSJoeBrust @buckly024 @CrapCody My main point is, when I see the community taking matters into their own hands, I'm not filled with joy because I get free games, I'm happy because we are finally taking things into our own hands and fighting for ownership and preservation.

[Dylan @Dylan45424870]

@PSJoeBrust @buckly024 @CrapCody With Amazon, you can buy the same or similar products elsewhere. With Playstation exclusives you cannot. Games deserve to be preserved and companies switching to all digital strip developers AND consumers of that right.

[Dylan @Dylan45424870]

@PSJoeBrust @buckly024 @CrapCody Both can be true at once dawg there's no mental gymnastics there. A company that switches to all digital cannot be trusted with the preservation of games. It also let's us play the games we enjoy while not supporting Sony. There are other ways to support dev studios.

[Dylan @Dylan45424870]

@PSJoeBrust @buckly024 @CrapCody @soflysojoe I fundamentally disagree. Me and many others, especially game preservationists and collectors pirate to OWN OUR GAMES. Digital only hurts everyone, including consumers who only enjoy digital games.

[Dylan @Dylan45424870]

@PSJoeBrust @buckly024 @CrapCody @soflysojoe You say "protest" as if it's not a valid form of protesting. Money is what drives companies to change, nothing else. By your logic, boycotting companies like Amazon and switching to another brand isn't okay because it hurts the employees.

[Dylan @Dylan45424870]

@PSJoeBrust @buckly024 @CrapCody @soflysojoe Hey so if pirating happens to every game, why are companies still successful? People who have the money to afford games BUY THEM! Piracy is a way to put power into the consumers hands OR for people who don't have the means, to experience culture. Hope this helps!!

[Dylan @Dylan45424870]

@PSJoeBrust @buckly024 @CrapCody @soflysojoe You don't have to worry about piracy if you are fair to consumers. Hope this helps!!
