Salt in the wound lmao

[Shams Charania @ShamsCharania]

Just in: Free agent guard Anfernee Simons has agreed to a two-year, $12.3 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, with a player option in second season, sources tell ESPN. Simons chose the 76ers over other suitors believing his fit is perfect with the revamped 76ers roster.

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

Omg. Horrifying return.

[Shams Charania @ShamsCharania]

BLOCKBUSTER: The Boston Celtics have agreed to trade Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers for Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round picks, sources tell ESPN.

@John_Zannis Anyone saying successful season is purely coping….

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

@John_Zannis It’s HARD winning a championship in the NBA but it feels like this core should have another.

It also feels that the championship window with Tatum + Brown under this CBA structure is closed but who knows. It’s ok to be mad.

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

Every time a team struggles it’s not on the coach.

The roster simply is not good enough right now. Your third best player can’t shoot a basketball. The centers can’t play more than 2 mins without fouling. Your stars are making poor choices. It’s not the coaching.

[Al Horford Pacino @alpacinogrunt]

Is Mazzulla a bad coach? Or does he make flawed teams look better than they are in a regular season environment? And is that actually helpful?

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

I’m sure he’s a great guy but Vucevic may be one of the worst #Celtics players I’ve ever seen. Can’t say I’m shocked about it either.

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

@THopkins26280 @John_Karalis Kind of? Blowing 2 20pt leads at home last season to the Knicks were some of the worst choke jobs since the Falcons Patriots Super Bowl

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

The #Celtics are in MASSIVE trouble in this series and in the next round if they advance. Queta being unplayable was not on the bingo card. Easily the worst center rotation in the playoffs.

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

If Edgecombe is going to look like prime Jimmy Butler and Boston continues to shoot like this the #Celtics are in a lot of trouble in a series that should be a cakewalk.

[John Zannis @John_Zannis]

Pass first shoot second Tatum is the best Tatum.

[Shams Charania @ShamsCharania]

BREAKING: Boston Celtics All-NBA star Jayson Tatum will play this season and could make his debut on Friday against the Dallas Mavericks – less than 10 months after surgery for a ruptured Achilles tendon.

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

Seattle was just the better team and completely deserved the win. Still an achievement for the #Patriots to even make the Super Bowl in the first place.

[John Karalis 🇬🇷 @John_Karalis]

I'd rather lose like this 100 times out of 100. Better team clearly won. Congratulations to them and you move on and grow from it.

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

Just a brutal, brutal end to the season for the #Patriots.

Drake Maye had a rough playoffs. He also had virtually no help on the offensive end tonight and the offensive line has been absolutely miserable for the past month.

A lot to build on but some playmaker WRs are needed.

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

@_teeing_it_up @KleaverSports He was very average/slightly below considering conditions. There can be a middle ground from great to awful.

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

@_teeing_it_up @KleaverSports “Played awful” is being disingenuous. He made huge throws against Houston and was clutch when needed against Denver. Pretty encouraging for a 2nd year quarterback considering the situations.

[New England Patriots @Patriots]

AFC CHAMPIONS‼️

[New England Patriots @Patriots]

SUPER BOWL BOUND!!!!!!!!

[Dylan @DylanJKyle]

Drake has played 3 top 5 defenses in his first playoffs of his career. Although there have been mistakes, he’s also made huge plays when needed. Hopefully a great learning experience for him going forward. #Patriots
