@bennyjohnson This feels like a distraction. It prevents the headlines from being about the war in Iran and instead the media is focused on the sudden interest in prosecuting Fauci. Last I checked this doesn’t make things more affordable or help out the average American.

@SenRandPaul We’re approaching 40 trillion in debt and no one seems to care. The majority of politicians in office won’t be around when it becomes to big of a problem to ignore. My generation (Gen-Z )will be left to deal with the consequences.

@AdamKinzinger Does Russia have the military recourses to start amother military campaign? Logistically speaking that doesn’t make much sense to me and it makes even less sense for them to directly challenge NATO.

Donald Trump might have handed a Senate seat to the Democrats. Trump made a stunning decision on May 19th when he endorsed controversial Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton over incumbent John Cornyn in their highly competitive runoff election. Cornyn is a senator you really don’t hear much about compared to his Texas counterpart, Ted Cruz, and is relatively unproblematic. Paxton, on the other hand, was impeached by the Texas House in 2023 and accused of corruption and helping out his donors illegally. He was later acquitted by the Texas Senate and is still the Texas attorney general. The Texas Senate race between Ken Paxton and Democratic candidate James Talarico this November will be one of the most-followed races of this cycle.

Abdul al-Sayed’s victory in the Democratic primary in Michigan might shake up the midterms heavily. The establishment has to be quite shocked that he beat mega PAC-backed Hailey Stevens. I could definitely see Mike Rodgers flipping that open seat and becoming the first republican in over 30 years to hold a Senate seat in Michigan.
