It’s bait.
Donald Trump is about tax cuts for the rich and eliminating abortion access. Crime went up and jobs went down on his watch.
Kamala Harris is actually focused on expanding rights and freedoms and helping working families & the middle class.
Tune out the noise.
Many don’t realize that the first people Hitler sent to his concentration camps weren’t everyday Jewish citizens, but his political opponents. So, when Trump rants about retribution, locking up his opponents, and giving them “very long sentences,” I can’t help but take him seriously… because history teaches us that is what fascist dictators do during their “Day One” period to consolidate their power. (After all, if you’re hellbent on staying in power but aren’t likely to win the next election, you can’t have your political opponents running around free.)
To keep fascism out of our lives, vote for democracy!
Some people seem to have forgotten how bad a president Trump was, so I made a list of the 100 Worst Things About the Trump Presidency, in no particular order. Please share and add anything I missed. 🧵
I’m here to tell you that even though some have forgotten … I remember.
I remember what it was like when Trump was president.
I remember what he did and said, about Puerto Rico…
About our people ...
I remember after Hurricane Maria devastated our island…
Trump blocked billions in relief … while thousands died.
I remember that when our families lacked clean water and electricity,
Trump threw paper towels and called Puerto Rico “dirty” and “poor.”
But I was not surprised..
Because I ALSO remember… he launched his campaign by calling Latinos criminals and rapists.
He’s told us what he’ll do.
He'll separate children from their families and threatened to use the ARMY to do it
This election goes way beyond political parties.
Now let’s remember what the United States represents and stands for. It’s our name - United.
Regardless of where we’re from.
I’m Marc Anthony…
I remember…
And that’s why I support Kamala Harris for President
"Trump's plan would cut the GDP by 8.9 percent. Let me put that in perspective for you: This is roughly twice the amount the GDP went down during the financial crisis. So we would be looking at something between a recession and a depression." @SteveRattner https://t.co/8yi1fQtAdE

A typical European car is parked 92% of the time. It spends 1/5th of its driving time looking for parking. Its 5 seats only move 1.5 people. 86% of its fuel never reaches the wheels, & most of the energy that does, moves the car, not people.
Sound efficient?

@JulieEiselt I just wish we could agree on something and freakin do it. We need a leader to step up and make something happen yesterday. And we can’t keep catering to single occupancy vehicles, or we’re going to have Atlanta’s traffic problem real quick.
If the measure of intelligence is the ability to change, then the true “smart cities” are the ones transitioning from car-obligatory to car-optional.
Cities like Rotterdam, where over the past two decades, they’ve made getting from A to B not just easy, but thoroughly enjoyable.
