Dudes will complain about 2k being the same game every year (it never is and you’d know that if you weren’t ass) but then can’t even fathom playing a game where the gameplay is so significantly different from any 2k they can compare it to, that they just cry to get the same shit they had last year back 😂
You don’t have badges, 2k lab hasn’t come yet with your golden ticket to figuring out how to shoot, and it’s been TWO DAYS 😂
If you’re willing to complain this early, I know DAMN WELL you’re too impatient to even think it’s worth practicing your jumpshot for even literally an hour too.
You’re also all so made by your shooting that you bring zero to the table as a player otherwise, and can’t figure out how to impact a game without it. That’s also pretty sad real shit.
NO ONE TALKS ABOUT THE FUCKING RAGE THAT COMES WHEN YOU REALIZE HOW MUCH OF YOUR LIFE WAS SPENT MANAGING OTHER PEOPLE'S EMOTIONS WHILE NO ONE EVER GAVE A FUCK ABOUT YOURS.
@DogeRomeo I dont knock Kobe for playing with Shaq on a team that drafted him, but Tony and Manu were second round picks that were developed into those players. Shaq was a #1 pick and signed there as a superstar already.
@kdjTV611 I believe the reason it’s so expensive is because they are aware of how many people are buying 3rd party stubs now for super cheap. They cannot afford to ban that many people as it would kill their player base, so instead they have doubled and tripled card prices to reflect.
Here’s the unfair competitive advantage the Dodgers have, summed up, so easily explained — even a Dodgers fan would understand. They got a built-in advantage out of bankruptcy that no other team has ever had, and never will have.
Here’s how it happened:
• 2011: McCourt’s ownership is a disaster (divorce, near-missed payrolls, MLB rejects his TV deal). He puts the team into Chapter 11.
• Bankruptcy court takes over. Creditors get paid in full. McCourt still walks with a big profit.
• 2012: Sold out of bankruptcy to Mark Walter’s Guggenheim group for a then-record $2.15 billion. Filthy rich new owners, clean books.
• As part of that court deal, the “fair market value” of their local TV rights for MLB revenue sharing gets locked in low — originally ~$84 million a year (later nudged up a bit by the team to around $130 million).
• Then they sign the real long-term TV deal worth an average of about $334 million a year.
• Result: They keep a huge chunk of that money instead of sharing it like every other club has to. Year after year. Helps fund the endless star contracts while the rest of the league plays by normal rules. This deal will continue until 2038.
Legal? Yeah. Fair? No. Not even a little.
Fuck these guys like Tarik Skubal, and every player regurgitating talking points issued by the MLBPA.
Baseball will die because the system is broken. And if you don’t like it, go suck on a torta, pendejo.
