@SchottHappens@TPM Well I'm sure if any of the additional texts were between Meadows and @SenMikeLee, they will only show that Lee, a US Constitution expert, was researching whether alternate electors were a thing, and not advocating for the harebrained alternate electors scheme.
@TaylorWAnderson There's a well-lit row of bike racks near the TRAX stop. I left my bike locked up for a long weekend a few months ago. Close to the airport, but not next to a public car lane. It felt secure. Outdoors but the drop-off lane sort of protects the area from the elements.
@73MilitaryMama Hmm. I think this was about the 2020 earthquake we had in SLC, and poking fun at the people who blamed COVID on Rudy for touching the mics. But I have no memory of tweeting this..
@gopTODD @schwaboy Fair enough. I think where we disagree is that Trump is only responsible if he explicitly directed the attack. His reckless negligence before and during should also be considered, IMO.
@gopTODD @schwaboy Honest question: do you think Trump is primarily responsible for Jan. 6? Because that’s the case they are building up to. In the end, you might not agree they get there, but Jan 6 was a historic, ugly assault and it’s important to get to the bottom of it.
@EricDSnider Not only do you not have to say “I was just going to say…” but you probably also don’t have to say the thing you were just going to say. Usually no one is listening
@RepChrisStewart@SteveScalise Well @RepChrisStewart is lost. Again. He isn't on that subcommittee. He is, on the other hand, a member of the GOP climate caucus. He should be advocating for answers as to why it's so goddamn hot and dry.
@RepChrisStewart I seriously doubt any lawmaker has suggested dismantling the Supreme Court, the Constitution, or any other institution. It seems much more likely that @RepChrisStewart is confused. Or trying to push a political agenda.
