Not only did Craig lose her Senate race, @LittleCongress, a staunch progressive won her open congressional district in MN2. Minnesota is done with politics as usual.
Imagine if an established progressive ran against Klobuchar...
@NortonMpls All they wanted to do was save the downtown Walmart and honor Haven, Maximillian, Buster, Blue, Trooper, Teak, Goliath, Rooster and Cabo... was that too much to ask?
@how_then25556@lloydletta@peggyflanagan Well, in this hypothetical, I'd probably first be concerned about the root cause of this surge. Was it a result of US foreign policy? Likely yes.
Second, this is America, and whether I like it or not, the first amendment gives us the right to believe in and say as we please.
I voted for @peggyflanagan today because I believe her when she says Abolish ICE, Medicare for All, No More Aid to Israel.
But, the Craig team is right to call on Flanagan to release her Israel position paper.
@FrancescaHongWI ran a hell of a campaign and pushed the overton window in a bellwether state.
And though, in the end, we did not prevail, Fran, her staff and the countless volunteers across the state and country have so much to be proud of.
@how_then25556@lloydletta@peggyflanagan Yeah, the case could be made for that. I'd probably go with specifically violent felonies rather than felonies on the whole.
That does not negate the fact that enforcement has to change drastically.
I also think it shouldn't bar you from ever becoming a citizen either.
@how_then25556@lloydletta@peggyflanagan Yes but not in the way it has been over the last 10+ years.
I think the better question is should we re-evaluate or immigration laws?
Minnesota: “Abolish ICE, Medicare for All, End US Aid to Israel, AI Data Center Moratorium!!!”
Wisconsin: “Can you please destroy my child’s school for a new data center?”
My family's roots in mid-Michigan trace back to the early 1800s. I lived with Grandma and Grandpa during my time at Michigan. And they’ve always had my back. They mean the world to me❤️
I’m honored to introduce them to you, too, in our new ad:
here is the minneapolis elections & voter services data for today's primary election in minnesota! 19,605 citywide early votes, that is 7.4% of minneapolis voters that have cast a ballot. wards 3, 7, 12, and 13 have the highest turnout so far, which i don't think is great for peggy flanagan
