We, the Union of JKSSB Students & Aspirants, humbly request your support regarding the JKSSB MTS Advertisement No. 09 of 2026.

As per the advertised criteria, only candidates up to 12th qualification are eligible, while candidates with qualifications above 12th—including Graduates, Post-Graduates and PhD holders—are ineligible.

This has created serious concern among thousands of educated youth across J&K.

A candidate spends years pursuing higher education, yet that very education becomes a reason for being excluded from a government recruitment opportunity.

📢 Our humble demand is simple: REMOVE THE MAXIMUM QUALIFICATION BAR FOR MTS POSTS.

Let Graduates, PGs and PhD holders compete through the same written examination and merit-based selection process.

We are not asking for special treatment or an unfair advantage. We are asking for the right to compete.

Graduation is not a crime.
Higher education is not a crime.

Sheikh Imran Ji, we sincerely request you to raise this issue with the Government, JKSSB and concerned leadership and stand with J&K’s educated aspirants.

20+ days, no response. Students raised the MTS qualification-bar issue and submitted a representation at the Raabita Office. After elections, why are leaders no longer reachable? Government must respond and act now.

SSC MTS requires only 10th pass and other jurisdictions including Ladakh have moved away from restrictive maximum qualification provisions.

J&K MTS aspirants are only asking for a fair chance.
Remove the higher-qualification bar and allow eligible candidates to appear in the MTS exam, as done in SSC and many other recruitments.
The youth deserve equal opportunity, not unnecessary restrictions.
