Lions DL Tyler Lacy is reportedly getting reps with the first-team defense in five-man fronts at the big defensive end (4i) position in OTAs. He provided some intriguing, stout snaps there last season, particularly against the run on early downs.
It's a promising sign for Lacy, a fourth-year player entering his second season with the Lions. Detroit drafted three defensive linemen, signed two more as UDFAs, and added two defensive ends in free agency, so there is bound to be significant competition across the front for spots on the 53-man roster.
ESPN Sources: Offensive Player of the Year and Super-Bowl champion Jaxon Smith-Njigba reached agreement with the Seattle Seahawks on a four-year, $168.6 million contract extension that now makes him the highest-paid WR in NFL history.
The deal averages $42.15 million per year, and includes over $120 million guaranteed, both setting records for any wide receiver.

Sources: Former #Bears All-Pro WR/returner Devin Duvernay is signing with the #Cardinals on a 1-year, $2.5M deal, negotiated by @ErikBurkhardt of @RocNationSports.
Aside from being an option at receiver, Duvernay is a key weapon for his field-position impact as a returner.
