The more I understand Engels' idea of 'social murder', the more disturbing I find one particular misuse of the word “transmedicalism”.
It has been twisted into treating the need for medical transition, as though it were an endorsement of medical gatekeeping, strict gender roles, and the perisex binary having no exceptions.
There is a difference between demanding that everybody meet your criteria for legitimacy and naming the healthcare you need for yourself and those like you.
Transsex people have described having to conform to rigid gender expectations, rehearse institutionally approved narratives, and endure years-long humiliation rituals to be given access to hesistant and intentionally flawed care.
Having to navigate those demands does not make you their creator.
Patients finding ways through a coercive system are not automatically endorsing the conditions it imposes.
But when “I need access to healthcare for me to live” is rewritten as “everybody must medically transition to be legitimate,” a statement about your own material needs becomes an accusation about what you supposedly demand of others
You put the costume of old transmedicalists onto the present day people who historically have been the biggest victims of transmedicalism and the institution those misguided, scared, and reactionary people helped uphold out of fear of losing the care for themselves
The person struggling to get through the gate is retroactively written as the person keeping it shut.
You are no longer being accused of defending an abusive system.
Your dependence on the resources it controls has become sufficient evidence against you.
The victim is reframed to become the perpetrator.
The veil of performative progressivism is too thin to hide the dagger underneath.
We've seen this pattern before, it's all from the same bourgeois handbook.
Let's look how the same inversion worked in the bathroom argument:
At first, it was
“We’re not talking about trans women. We’re talking about men pretending to be trans women to prey on others.”
The sleight of hand occured when that hypothetical impersonator becomes a description of trans women themselves.
The people supposedly excluded from the accusation become its target, and look where discourse has come now.
These are different arguments, but the manoeuvre is one and the same: recast somebody seeking safety or healthcare as a threat, then present their exclusion as protection.
This is, generally, where social murder stops being an abstraction for me and becomes undeniable.
People in power can bear responsibility for lethal conditions they knowingly preserve without ever laying a hand on those who die.
People privileged enough to live in ignorance without ever having to see that ignorance's consequences dictate the faux-progressive narratives they launder exploitation and abuse, under liberal costumes of virtue.
My friends were denied help that could have saved them.
My friends are dead.
Those still alive are still living with the consequences of care they needed being denied when it mattered most: bodies neurologically incongruent from skin down to bone.
Their lives could have been so different.
They do not need their suffering reinterpreted into something more convenient for somebody else’s politics. They need the material means to live.
My friends could be alive and happy today, they could have done things for this world.
Yet under this new 'logic', simply naming the help they needed becomes grounds for branding them the same monsters who murdered them.
Needing treatment is not an ideological offence.
Acknowledging that someone needs medical care does not uphold this cruel system. Refusing to do so does.
Denying somebody’s needs does not become liberation because you have learnt to describe it in progressive language, or pretend it's not real.
Once the harm is known, preserving the conditions that cause it is a choice.
Never stop noticing how this is done.
It will happen again.
Remember that umbrellas reduce all identities to one "umbrella" term which is only useful for outsiders who don't care to learn the nuance, it's like saying Chinese and Japanese people all fall under the Asian umbrella
Both share some traits and experiences but fundamentally in the case of transsex and transgender people it's very different material realities and situations
Not that either is invalid but i think the lack of distinction leads to hardcore ignorance because both seem cis to each other
@timepriestess@wokejucheism Misogyny is when we give women symbolic emancipation via immaterial larpium instead of material emancipation from misogyny bred by the bourgeois o algo
@eastcoastglazer@wokejucheism Trvke every reply I see to this post has literally just been "it's okay because in MY ethnocentric culture WE used astrology to sow class division and casteism and deprive people of autonomy so it's based actually!!!"
Tamil society has historically helped reinforce caste boundaries, particularly through marriage arrangements, religious authority, and beliefs about birth and destiny through astrology.
Call me too woke but I think using immaterial larpium to categorise people and deprive them of self determination and autonomy is hitlerite shit and not good regardless of what race or culture does it
Liberation is for everyone on this world, no exceptions
Call me too woke but I think doing esoteric, immaterial larpium to profile people on intangibly-assigned characteristics is hitlerian in nature regardless of what race or culture does it.
Both sides are wrong but one is actively serving TERFism while the other is reactionarily defending its own survival without caring for nuance
The truth is that trans as a word refers to both "Transgender" and "Transsex people.
People can be Cissex Transgenders, Transsex Cisgenders, Cissex Cisgenders, or Transsex Transgenders.
All of these are different lived experiences
The issue in this discourse is the erasure of Transsex people by Cissex Transgenders
Also Transsex people are the only group for whom there are tangible material consequences from Transsexism such as medical deprivation, vcoding, etc
The primary conflict is about one side erasing the other while the other is fighting for its own survival and not in a spot to have a nuanced debate while your own community abuses you
I completely agree with your statement but I also want you to be aware of the fact that "trans" as an identity is a blanket term for people with extremely different contexts which are better split into "transgender" and "transsex" and it's fundamentally this material difference between the two which leads to bigotry from each to the other
Transgender people can be insanely transsexist and transsex people generally ignorant of cissex transger peoples experiences and that's also horrible
Transsex bodies aren't perisex either, they are not considered intersex under the current criteria of the language, but I think anyone who is actually aware of the biological reality of how HRT works and how sex inconguence is a congenital neurological defect can realise that transsex people are not perisex and are victims of both transsexism and intersexism
@CursedGoo Yeah I remember being in a hospital at 19 with heart issues and they just left me in the waiting room for 13 hours
People sleeping on the floor, piss on the floor, general aura of misery and desperation
The NHS has been gutted for half a century

@KeyboredKreiger@heavenlymegumi That's why for the last century people have been critiquing and developing the praxis further, Marx got a lot of shit wrong and failed to account for many things that exist in 2026, which is fair considering his books are from the 1800s
This happened over a year ago now but I used to be friends with a trans woman who was at the time running a reddit botting website to help pay for her ffs and srs and there was a convo about a suspicious amount of posts about le evil 4tran were getting botted in groomer subreddits like r/MTF, r/CountWitchChickenlady, and r/Traaaaaaaaans
