I just saw Toy Story 5. I thought it was alright, it was very relevant to today, the way tech is affecting socializing in particular definitely hit. However as a toy story movie it still feels weird, this one also didn't give me that "finale" feeling that 3 and 4 did, it's just
Toy Story 5...man I think it's time to hang it up. Franchise is officially running on fumes. Recycled ideas, bad humor, and boomer takes. Also, they really have no idea what to do with Buzz at this point, full flanderization. I didn't expect much but yeesh...
Andy wasn’t the only one growing up. 🥹
TOY STORY 2 (1999) received a nomination for Original Song, “When She Loved Me.” 11 years later, TOY STORY 3 (2010) earned five nominations, winning Oscars for Animated Feature Film and Original Song, “We Belong Together,” while also receiving nominations for Best Picture, Sound Editing and Adapted Screenplay.
TOY STORY 3 was released 16 years ago today.
The ending where Andy gives his toys to Bonnie was inspired by Pixar employees watching their own children grow up and leave childhood behind, making the farewell as personal for the filmmakers.
🚨 Senegal captain Kalidou Koulibaly speaking facts:
"Africans can’t have their people" at the World Cup because of US travel bans.
Every other team gets their fans. But Global South teams like Senegal get blocked while the West lectures everyone about "inclusion" and "human rights".
This is the same empire that bombs, exploits, and restricts — then cries when others resist.
Football should unite people, not separate them with racist visa policies and double standards.
Stand with Koulibaly. Stand with the fans. Stand with the Global South.
No bows. Just raw truth. 💪🏿🇸🇳
I respect Messi’s greatness, but I’m fully convinced he’s going goal‑less this World Cup and Argentina are getting grouped. He holds them back.
