@David_Da_Boss I reckon he stays in there right until the end. Then Ryan frees him to set up a spin off series of them 2 roaming some type of apocalyptic America that homelander created. Reckon the deep pops up in it as some obscure villain for Soldier boy to tutor Ryan against.
