REALITY CHECK:

Abbott attacks Gina Hinojosa for supposedly wanting to “let China buy Texas land.”

But Abbott has been governor since 2015.

Beginning in 2016, Chinese billionaire Sun Guangxin bought more than 130,000 acres in Val Verde County.

Texas did not enact its broad foreign-adversary land-purchase restrictions until 2025.

And the law applies prospectively.

So if allowing those purchases is the indictment:
