@ibkontehja He said “this fusion of Caribbean and Southern elements came together as what was known as crunk.” I’m saying crunk solely originated in Memphis and it’s not Caribbean.
@IkeRiice@HappyPunch Shannon having a platform covering sports, with Shakur as a guest, and admitting he did not watch him two fights ago (Zepeda), while simplifying entertainment in boxing to KO’s is lazy. Can’t say we learned much from his opinion bc he doesn’t appreciate boxing as a sweet science.
@ride4ant@shannonsharpeee@NightcapShow_ Not sure if Shannon does tho. Let’s say his gripe is w/ Shakur underdelivering on KO promises — cool. Aside from that, I’m not confident that Shannon can watch a fight without color commentary & truly understand what Shakur does well. Just don’t think he has the patience to care.
@Nairaexchanger@DrianneBelleza Think you’re allowing her point to escape you due to pride. As it relates to the group of ppl their character’s represented — can you share footage of Cheadle/Whitaker speaking on cultural nuance & ethnic frameworks as a catch-all experience w/ low competence & no consequence?
@Nairaexchanger@DrianneBelleza She’s talking about Oyelowo’s attachment to biopics of Black American icons, while not respecting nuances of Black American cultural. You’re referencing ppl not complaining about Black Americans playing fictional characters. Her points are more layered than what you’re saying.
@lone_prince16 @BlackAndNative1 So you’re not going to answer my question and you are still calling us African Americans when we are telling you otherwise. What you are doing is a dismissive, hateful & disrespectful. And you still have not explained why you’re in Australia, while worried about us.. checkmate!!
