The picture shows my pregnant mother, sister & me in March 1993 after we were deported from #Srebrenica by UN trucks.
Our father Rifet stayed in Srebrenica.
November 1993, my brother Enis was born in Tuzla, he had never seen his father in his life, & we never saw him again. ⬇️
Our beautiful Bosnia 🇧🇦
A place where different cultures, nations, and faiths have lived side by side for centuries.
Diversity here isn’t a weakness, it’s our strength.

Laylat al-Qadr was marked tonight in Srebrenica with a special focus on children and youth.
Young voices filled the mosque with Qur’an recitation and prayers, reminding us that faith, hope, and community continue to live through the new generations.

In the beautiful atmosphere of Ramadan, a special program marking the Night of Badr was held at the Čaršija Mosque in Srebrenica on March 6, 2026.
A particularly touching moment of the program was the performance of the nasheed “Tala‘al Badru ‘Alayna…”,
Tonight, the first Tarawih prayer was performed at the Čaršija Mosque in Srebrenica.
So many young people and children.
Life prevails.

When a sister feels even a trace of calm because her brother was not tortured, because he was killed immediately, ah, my friend, that is Srebrenica.

“Koliko je bola i koliko grijeha ali ja ću prijeći korak od suza do smjeha nije to zbog bola nije to zbog rata ko se ovdje rodi pjeva iz inata
Bosna će još pjevati jer pjesmu mi ne mogu ubiti Bosna će još pjevati i zato ću ovdje ostati
Domovino moja moja si ljepota bila si i bit' ćeš ljubav mog života drži se za mene ja ne tonem lako dala si mi dušu koju nema svako”
Sretan Dan državnosti BiH
