It had been over a year since I had been on this electric skateboard, because last time I did, a rambunctious golden retriever ran towards me on the beach (wanting to play I’m sure), knocked me off the one wheel, and caused a serious knee injury that I’m still working through
Moral of the story: Don’t let past unfortunate chance circumstances prevent you from trying something again, especially if you enjoy doing it. Overcome your fears and believe in yourself!
Plus, there’s no age limit to having fun! 😉
My age has taught me a lot:
✨ Personal growth. ✨
Trying new things. ✨
Not putting off your bucket list. ✨
It’s never too late to find love. ✨
Self-care isn't selfish.
What have you learned as you’ve gotten older? Or what advice do you have?

Sunset strolls with my girl Nina = instant mood boost 🌅🐾
There’s something about salty air, sandy paws, and golden light that resets everything. Feeling more like myself again with each day
Your writing is truly beautiful and poetic! I could feel the atmosphere of tranquility and freedom as I stood on the beach, enjoying the sunshine and breeze with my dog. In this fast paced world, we are often driven by various pressures and forget what is truly important in life. I hope we can all find our own peace and happiness in our respective lives
@robert73624 The journey allows us to see different scenery and re examine places we were once familiar with. Every return is a new beginning. Although the starting point is familiar, it becomes more precious because of the experience
Wishing everyone a happy National Dog Day from my lovely old Schnauzer, Nina! 💗🐾 We are on the beach now, this is our happy paradise. Nina is 14 years old, so I carry her out onto the flat sand where it’s easier for her to walk and run around. The other day, while I was carrying her, my phone fell into the sand, and I thought it was gone for good. Fortunately, a kind person found it in time, otherwise the phone would have been washed away by the waves. May the good person live a long and peaceful life! 🙏🏻 This month has been both fulfilling and joyful, but I just want to enjoy the moment... I hope everyone is doing well! 🤗
@Ferdinand641 I remember when I first graduated, I got my hair dyed and got scolded by my parents when I got home. Now they're getting older day by day, and the scolding has gradually stopped. I really wish time could go back so I could always be that mischievous kid in my parents' eyes☹️☹️
Friends! Wishing you all the best in the new week! Nothing is more important than your smile
Don't forget to keep smiling and enjoy life during your grayhairtransition period. It will make the long days easier, and before you know it, you'll have achieved your goals! 🤍😊
@Ferdinand641 I apologize if my previous reply made you feel uncomfortable. Understanding and respect are, of course, very important. I believe you will continue to discover new joys and meaning in life
