We celebrated all our pupils today at our Prize Giving. We are all so proud of everything you have achieved this year. We also said a fond farewell to our Primary 7 pupils and wished them well on the next step in their adventures.

P6/7 participated in the last of Miss Evan’s ‘Paint Around the School’ @EacCreative Minds project today. The pupils have thoroughly enjoyed exploring their creative sides using our beautiful surroundings as a stimulus. Our art gallery is looking super too. #outdoors #teamsorn

We were treated to a debate by P4/5 about wind farms today at assembly. The pupils used their recent research to create characters and a ‘for and against’ debate. The debate was so engaging our other classes joined in with their opinions. @EACattainment #debate #teamSorn

Primary 6/7 suggested walking and cycling more or use public transport to commute to places of work rather than travelling through the village.

As part of clean air day, P6/7 surveyed the main road in Sorn to observe sources of pollution. Pupils were surprised to see so many cars pass through in a short space of time and only one of those being electric.

P6/7 participated in our @EacCreative Minds project with Miss Evan’s today. They carefully sketched their drawings then colour mixed and painted them followed by assessing and commenting on each others’ work. 🖼 🎨
