The next stop was the future location for Voyager Coffee and Tea. The students met with Levi Smith, the founder of the company, and learned about his redevelopment project for 1586 and 1588 Mahoning Avenue.
The first stop was the 3143 Mahoning Avenue/former Clark Bar, which is the newest Commercial Property Revitalization (CPR) project, acquired by the Western Reserve Port Authority in collaboration with local partners.
Later in the week, EAG's Gianna Marinucci led the group in team building activities. We’re excited to see what these students can achieve in the coming weeks!
Last week, the @YoungstownState STEM students began their summer internship with YSU and EAG.
As a part of their Community-Engaged Educational Ecosystem Model (C-EEEM) curriculum, the students toured Mill Creek Park to get a greater sense of what the park means to the community.
