Our team, our local program partners, and every operational partner who helps make this program possible each month are heartbroken at the loss of our founder, Dolly Parton. (cont.)
When Dolly Parton lost the Oscar to Three Six Mafia, she sent them a letter congratulating them and saying she was proud they brought it home to Tennessee.
One of one. Never to be equaled.
This is truly heartbreaking. Dolly Parton was an extraordinary person and an irreplaceable champion of the working class. We are a better country because of her.
Dr. Dre sued the crap out of Napster for giving away music for free and said, “I don't like people stealing my music.”
Today he doesn’t mind using AI software that often steals from known and unknown creators to generate music. I hope he can see how hypocritical that is.
Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud on Threads following the incident with Enes Kanter last night:
"To every trans kid/person,
You are apart of MY community & tribe. You belong. You’re loved. You’re seen. You’re perfect as you are.
& you will always be protected by me."
@tweetsandboobs I wanted an iPhone when they first came out but started with Android and never changed…I have iPhones for work but still prefer Android for my cell 🤷🏻♂️ iPhone does have cooler emojis so I’ll give them that lol. If you’ve only ever had one then the other seems kinda funky at first
@tweetsandboobs Doesn’t matter if it’s the best or the worst, shoutout to you for taking them 🥹 (but to actually answer your question though lol I really liked it! Not my favorite Spidey movie ever but that’s a very high bar to clear 🤷🏻♂️ Tom is an excellent Spider-Man)
📻 | Santi: “Thank you Lewis. A bit unlucky with Russell…”
📻 | Lewis Hamilton: “We weren’t unlucky! We lost time earlier on and that cost us P3.”

In 1963, a bombing by white supremacists killed four Black girls at Birmingham’s 16th Street Baptist Church. Two months later, John Coltrane recorded “Alabama”.
One of those pieces that is both haunting and incredibly beautiful.
Today I learned that the reason J. Cole got emotional the other night performing ‘Love Yourz’ in the now viral clip was because of a kid named Collin Griffin, who he met in 2017 when Collin was diagnosed with Stage 4 cancer. Collin’s Make-A-Wish was to meet Cole, and when he passed away the next year, Cole was even mentioned in his obituary.
Collin met Cole backstage at a show in DC, and Dreamville took care of him with merch and the like. Cole even took the shoes off his feet and signed them for Collin, asking him to work hard to beat cancer.
Collin told Cole that his music has been inspirational for him and helped him get through this difficult time, to which Cole responded "No, you inspire me." Collin broke down in tears.
Fast forward to Cole’s Cleveland show over the weekend, Collin’s family attended and held up pictures of him, which Cole called out right before performing ‘Love Yourz.’
Collin loved to draw, had a great passion for music, and he lived each day to the fullest. RIP 💙🕊️
“We love Collin, man” -Cole
Being part of a generation that was told “Wikipedia is not a source” makes it genuinely baffling to me that jobs are now telling people to just use ChatGPT for everything.
i find it legitimately devastating that we’re going to lose an entire generation of brilliant child stars because of how they were mistreated in service of our entertainment.
