Even with increasing geopolitical realignments in the Red Sea, Somaliland's case stands on its proven ability to govern effectively & contribute to regional security, potentially paving the way for broader acceptance without necessitating major power realignments. (3/4)
War between Ethiopia 🇪🇹 & Eritrea 🇪🇷 isn’t on the horizon. Prime Minister @AbiyAhmedAli has explicitly stated that Ethiopia has no intention of pursuing war with Eritrea or any other neighboring countries, particularly over the issue of Red Sea access. While Ethiopia views access to the sea as a critical national interest, it prefers a peaceful diplomatic approach over confrontation. There is information circulating on social media suggesting Eritrea warning Djibouti against allowing Ethiopia a naval base in the Tadjourah region. However, there isn’t a conclusive evidence of official warnings or diplomatic communications between the two countries so far.
