3d models and their advancements forced gamers into expecting more lifelike actions. With 2d and pixels, your imagination filled in the gaps.

@unimockups @UniWatch @PhilHecken @UpperDeckSports @espn @darrenrovell "Painted" cards were big in the 80s pre-Photoshop. Hockey cards and some football cards are littered with them. Colour swaps, pasted logos etc.

Some are actually done well!

@SOFTDRINKTV It's about resisting the temptation to buy it on launch day. If you held off for a month and saw all the glitch vids, and the reviews from paid shills drop in YT searches, you might have a better idea of how bad it is from real users.

@jlnhlfan That's because you require an alpha mask to get the outline to be exact. The easiest way to do it is to use Photoshop, save as a psd and use Fshed to import the portraits into the shape file.
