Today is Daylight Savings, and once again we all lost an hour of sleep. No one likes it. Changing the time twice a year is just stupid. So why isn’t it gone? I’ll explain:

- Last year the US Senate voted to pass the bipartisan “Sunshine Protection Act,” to make Daylight saving time the permanent time in the US.
- When it was time to vote on it in the House, to move it to Biden’s desk, the House could not agree on whether we to make Daylight Saving time the actual time or Standard time the actual time.
- This led to the bill never being voted on in the House.
- On March 2 of this year the Senate reintroduced the bill.

Let’s hope it passes into law this time!

I still don’t think most people realize the extent of the horror that’s unfolding in so many states right now. In North Dakota, recently introduced HB 1205 would ban from public libraries ALL books that include ANY depiction of gay or trans humans. This is monstrously evil.
