Good morning Chair @SolomonSerwanjj.
What do we have to do to have ‘Hard Questions’ with the man of Gaad @RobertKayanja?
In the event that you’re busy with duties of Bamutakudde republic, I can do the hosting just for that one interview.
I watched Frank Gashumba on Bruno’s live yesterday. His issue as I understood it, was with fake pastors. And surely we can all agree those exist.
What puzzles me is why criticism of fake pastors is being received as an attack on every pastor. Surely genuine ministers should be equally concerned about people using God’s name to deceive others?
Defending the faith should include holding accountable those who exploit it. If your ministry is honest and your miracles are genuine, why the uproar? Why the curses ?
Who exactly are you defending ?
For over 50 years, Moses Matovu’s saxophone was an unmistakable part of Afrigo Band and Uganda’s nightlife.

Uganda Mourns Sax Legend Moses Matovu; Over 100 Hits, One Band, 50 Years Strong
Moses Matovu, 77, one of Uganda’s most celebrated and talented musicians, was killed today in a suspected crime of passion in the Kampala suburb of Kibuli.
Over a career spanning nearly 60 years, Matovu composed more than 100 songs and anchored Afrigo Band, Uganda’s longest-running live outfit. He wove together traditional rhythms with rumba and jazz, helping to unify Ugandan pop culture in the process.
Among his most remarkable achievements was leading a single band continuously for more than 50 years.
He co-founded Afrigo on 31 August 1975 and remained its defining leader, principal composer and frontman until his death on 24 September 2026. No other Ugandan musical group has matched this half-century of uninterrupted existence under one leader.
Before establishing Afrigo in 1975, Matovu performed with the Thunderbirds Band (1967), the Uganda Police Band (1968) and the Cranes Band (1969–1975).
A self-taught saxophonist, he was also a talented, competitive footballer who played as a right-winger for Express FC, Police FC, Nakivubo Boys (later SC Villa), Kibuli United, Lint FC and Fiat FC before retiring from the pitch in 1972.
Matovu was not just a musician, but a man whose music shaped generations and whose rhythm will ringlong after his final note.
When the great tree falls, do not immediately watch the branches.
Watch the people who once sat beneath its shade.
Some will mourn the tree. Others will measure the timber.
The birds that built their nests there will suddenly find another tree. The hands that were fed by its fruit will forget who planted it. Old grudges will emerge from the forest, dressed as tradition, duty and concern.
And while everyone argues over what belonged to the tree, look for the woman sitting quietly beside its roots.
She remembers when it was only a seed.
She watered it before it gave shade. Protected it before it bore fruit. Stood beside it through every storm. She loved it when there was absolutely nothing to inherit.
Yet when the tree falls, even she may discover that those who once bowed before its branches have no difficulty stepping over its roots.
That is the cruel lesson of death:
Some people loved the tree.
Others only loved the shade.
Time eventually tells the difference.
An army that stood with King Oyo from childhood, through every triumph, and every storm. Even in his passing, we have not abandoned disappointed our King. We have remained steadfast, carrying his name, defending his legacy, and standing for what he believed in.
I believe he is smiling from heaven, watching the people who stood by him in life continue to stand for him even in death. The King may have left this earth, but his legacy lives on through those who refuse to let his light fade. 🕊️👑
@QueenOlimi Such a powerful, thoughtful and foward looking statement from Best Kemigisa!
Thoughts and prayers to you, Princess Komuntale, and our baby king.
Whenever you are ready, I will personally contribute to the King Oyo Research and Teaching Hospital.
