@BridgeBase Whenever I see bridge played behind wooden screens my heart sinks. What has become of our game? Not only that, you can compete against old men who don’t even take their anorak off. It’s hard to convince anyone that this is a game they should play.

2/5 The Schools Cup was won by Haberdashers Askes A team who narrowly beat Loughborough A by 22 IMPs to 21; the final board was a 1 IMP swing to Habs A which ultimately decided the match.
