MISSING: Have you seen East Kilbride teen Calan Harkins?

The 17-year-old was last seen around 3.50am this morning in the Windward Road area.

He is described as around 6ft, of thin build, with brown hair. When last seen he was wearing a cream puffer style jacked, black jogging bottoms and carrying a yellow JD Sports bag.

Concerns are growing for Calan’s welfare and anyone who has seen him or knows where he might be is asked to get in touch with Police Scotland.

I understand he might not have been fully aware what he's doing but its equally unfair to blame the tiger. There have been failures somewhere but no an innocent animal should not be shot. The attendants there have a duty of care for those animals just as someone somewhere should have a duty of care for the man that got attacked.

It's a general thing that men prefer to have boys most straight dads when speaking honestly would prefer a boy. Why would a dad prefer playing princesses and painting their kids nails etc when they can be building Lego or whatever. It's common sense but if you want to believe everyone's a nonce then thats fine too have fun being angry at everything all the time.

@WingsScotland His lack of insight into societal norms is the general public's problem... why? If someone is a danger, lock them away. Otherwise none of us are really free.

@fernandome11406 @dom_lucre Fair enough. But if it were your own kid you'd have difficulty staying away. Parents have certain responsibilities when they decide to bring up a child even if they're not a fan of how they behave.
