Last week @DeputySecState Landau and I welcomed nearly 200 international professionals participating in @ECAatState’s IVLP Freedom 250 Initiative to the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace. In celebration of 250 years of American independence, they’ll visit 60+ communities across the United States, witnessing the greatness of our country firsthand.

@StateDept and @UFC have joined forces to put MMA’s massive popularity to work for American diplomacy. UFC athletes and coaches will serve as sports ambassadors through the Department of State’s Sports Envoy program, which will include leading training clinics for young international athletes.

Strengthening border security is a top U.S. priority. @Smithsonian and @StateDept’s Cultural Heritage Center recently led two law enforcement trainings for 300+ @CBP, @ICEgov, and @FBI officers to curb the illicit trafficking of antiquities from North Africa into the U.S.
