Fair Haven Day felt a little extra special this year. 🎉
Elm City Communities took to the parade to debut the @glendower_group's brand new 25th anniversary logo, to celebrate a milestone that reflects 25 years of transforming communities right here in New Haven.
Twenty-five years at ECC is quite the feat. That's how long Evelise has shown up for the Housing Authority of New Haven and for the community she's always called home. 🏡
Thank you for your leadership, your example, and everything you continue to give to this community.

For Shenae, the work has never just been about buildings. It's about the people inside them and making sure every New Haven resident has a safe, stable place to call home and making excellence a habit.
Elm Haven, built in 1940, was one of the first public housing developments in the United States. It was home to generations of New Haven families. It was also a model that, over time, showed us what needed to change.

Thank you to our incredible CED team for the thoughtful planning and care that made this gathering so special. We are also deeply grateful to our panelists and moderators for leading such lively, inspiring discussions and to every woman who showed up and poured into this space.
ECC Update: Our offices will be closed tomorrow in observance of Good Friday as we provide our team time to rest and reflect.
We hope you enjoy a peaceful, restorative weekend. To everyone celebrating, we wish you a joyful and meaningful Easter with loved ones.
Last Thursday, we joined partners to celebrate the ribbon cutting of The Winston, bringing 283 new mixed-income homes to New Haven.

Long before her name was on a school in our neighborhood, Augusta Lewis Troup (1848–1920) was breaking barriers for women across the country. She didn’t just ask for a seat at the table. She helped build the table.
