While they have the most stable ownership they have had in years, the football side of things is embarrassing.
Turning up to a clubs end of season awards when not invited, literally couldn't be more child-like behaviour. Owners would do well to get rid of both HoR and Manager.
With the greatest respect to Walton & Hersham, this debacle sums Yeovil up as a club.
They are looking to tap up players from what was two leagues below, now one league below, with a child running around as their head of recruitment, clearly showing he doesn't have a clue.
@DevonIsRed1@Zack_mackinz So my question to you is;
If there was a Manager who had no connections to Exeter, but had a proven record of success in League 2, a proven record of working with academy products and a proven record of working with low-level budgets, would you not want them appointed?
@DevonIsRed1@Zack_mackinz Plus at Rotherham he avoided relegation with the lowest budget in the Championship, and since he's left they have falled rapidly down the Leagues, showing he wasn't the problem.
Unfortunate personal circumstances affected his time at Bristol Rovers.
@sihawk89 I just don't understand the negativity from the get-go, that's all. This has the potential to be a tough season, no matter who is in charge, so surely looking to back MT and the team is the attitude everyone should have. Fans are needed now more than ever.
@sihawk89 Unfortunately the club is in such a poor state that having someone who knows it, understands how it should be run, has seen it successfully run, promotes youth and can work on a very small budget is the best option, in my opinion at least.
@DevonIsRed1@Zack_mackinz I haven't seen an apology, just you asking for one good reason why any of what you stated was wrong, which I did. I am not reading all of your tweets, come on now.
So who would you appoint instead of MT? Which Manager who works well with youth and on a small budget is there?
@sihawk89 Happy to have your face and name linked to constant negativity, fair enough. I’ve never seen anything positive from you.
Apologies on the RTC misinformation. I’m glad you don’t have to worry about that link anymore. I assumed from your profile picture you were still involved.
@jakeb04_ Hi @jakeb04_ today is the second time the club has announced Matt Taylor since I broke the news the first time around, when you intimated I was lying.
Just wondering if you are able to apologise yet? Or if you are just never going to be a man.
Hearing that Taylor will be announced today and is going to take charge tonight on an interim basis until end of the season. Dan Green will remain to support MT, and feeling at the club is he is still an option in the summer to take over #ecfc
Incredible job with the club first time around. Done well with Rotherham in his first season. Horrible personal circumstances affected his time at Bristol Rovers.
Last time the club was in League Two, who got them promoted? Exactly. Let’s get behind MT shall we!
✍️ Matt will be a big part of a complete reset across the Club, which will see us very much returning to our ethos, prioritising financial sustainability and supporter ownership powered by our Academy talent 👊

@grecian1993@proudbutnot@DevonIsRed1 Not quite. He was offered a contract until 2028 but he felt low-balled with the wage offered. While deliberating, personal circumstances meant he felt it wasn’t the right time and he was a big part of MT returning, with the wheels in motion prior to the Bolton game.
@Ross_Bonetta A lot depends on how things go between now and the end of the season.
One thing that can’t be denied is the club have a lovely recent history of making the right decision when it comes to manager (Dolan, Inglethorpe, Tisdale, Taylor, Caldwell) so hopefully that continues.
