DELIVERING ON THE RENEWED HOPE MANDATE
My commitment has always been to deliver quality representation that brings meaningful development closer to our people across the Lagos West Senatorial District.
I remain deeply passionate about investing in projects that improve lives, strengthen our communities, and create lasting opportunities for our people.
Through the support of the Renewed Hope Agenda, we have continued to record significant milestones in critical sectors:
🏫 Education: From the construction of 36 classrooms at Awodi-Ora Primary School in Ajeromi to new classroom blocks at St. Michael School, Ojo; Oregun High School, Onigbonbo; Junior/Senior Schools in Oriade; and State Primary School, Mafoluku, Oshodi, we are expanding access to quality learning environments for our children.
🏥 Healthcare: We have delivered modern Primary Healthcare Centres in Ojokoro and Igbolobi Town, Ojo, ensuring that more families have access to quality and affordable healthcare services within their communities.
🎓 Youth Development & Empowerment: Through the establishment of Youth Development Centres in Badagry and a Skill Acquisition Centre in Mushin, we are equipping our young people with the skills, opportunities, and support they need to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.
In addition, we have executed numerous community-based projects, including solar-powered boreholes, transformers, streetlights, market infrastructure, and other interventions across all 28 Local Government Areas and LCDAs in Lagos West. These projects reflect my unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life of every resident.
This journey is far from over. I remain committed to delivering impactful, people-centred representation and ensuring that every community in Lagos West continues to enjoy the dividends of democracy.
Together, we will continue to build a stronger, healthier, and more prosperous Lagos West.
The Journey So Far… 🇳🇬
My commitment to purposeful representation remains unwavering. Through strategic legislation, I continue to champion reforms that strengthen our institutions, protect citizens, and expand opportunities for all.
From advancing education and child rights, to promoting gender equity, improving housing, infrastructure, digital systems, and strengthening legal and economic frameworks—these sponsored bills reflect a deliberate effort to drive meaningful progress across key sectors of our nation.
Every bill is a step towards a more inclusive, secure, and prosperous Nigeria.
The journey continues… with greater impact ahead.

PRESS STATEMENT
Sanwo-Olu Not Asked To Resign – Disregard Sahara Reporters’ Falsehood
We have noted with concern a false report by Sahara Reporters alleging that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been “ordered to resign on health grounds” with the Deputy Governor set to take over.
This report is false in its entirety. Nobody has asked the Lagos Governor to resign-this is another fake news, which has become a pattern of Sahara Reporters. Governor Sanwo-Olu remains in good health, of sound mind, and is actively discharging his duties as Governor of Lagos State.
Earlier today, the Governor received Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, who paid him a courtesy visit to formally notify him of his intention to contest for Governor. The meeting was held in a cordial atmosphere, as is customary.
While Sahara Reporters has a track record of publishing disinformation, we are issuing this clarification to prevent the public from being misled by deliberate falsehoods. We would ordinarily ignore such baseless reports, but the need to reassure Lagosians makes this response necessary.
We advise the public to disregard the Sahara Reporters story and treat it as fake news.

27 April 2026.
I joined others at the South West Zonal Unity Walk in support of the transformational leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at Onikan Stadium.
It was good to see people come together in unity and shared purpose, showing the strength we have when we stand together.
Today, as I clock another year on the journey of life, I'm filled with joy and gratitude for the opportunity to serve this great nation.
I want to take this moment to thank Nigerians for their messages, show of love and prayers on the occasion of my 74th birthday. I thank all our citizens for their patriotism, solidarity and support for our administration…
So far, this is the tweet with the lowest IQ levels I’ve seen yet in 2026— and I don’t think there will be any tweet that’ll beat it in terms of sheer stupidity this year. If it’s the same for you, retweet let everyone see and acknowledge the foolish tweet of the year as well.
My support and vote in the next presidential election in Nigeria 🇳🇬 will be for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Abuses, insults and online gaslighting will not change that. He will certainly win. And Odun mejo gbako ma pe!
@EmmyPromise71 Coastal road don reach my village. Lagos to Igbokoda will take me 1 hr 30 mins max, and one useful idiot wants me to abandon the man doing it. Naaaaaaaaahhhh!
