A simple strenghening strategy for patellofemoral pain ‘Work down the leg’. Strengthening the hip & trunk can reduce pain to facilitate exercises to target the knee. The foot & ankle is often neglected in PFP but manages a lot of load in function & should be considered in rehab.

10 year challenge: Physio beliefs
How did you beliefs change in 10 years, or even less?
When I heard @PeteOSullivanPT say at his course in London three years back: “I’m not afraid of pain”, was a game changer for me.
Been a neuro physio for 25 ish years and I have never truely rehabbed someone back to a running level, after a moderate/severe stroke. Well tonight (after 3 and 5 years training) I have two candidates! The new ingredient proper prescriptive strength training- strength is key
Working with @ECP_Physio on injury prevention and strength & conditioning to improve performance. Think I can make some IRONMAN run gains in particular. Any runners/triathletes doing regular S&C? I did none last year due to time limitations. I'm just gonna make it work this year!
