This week I joined Minister @demetriosnAB to announce that Budget 2025 funds 14 new school projects in Edmonton and surrounding communities, creating 16,000 new and updated student spaces.

🏗️ 36 school projects are already underway in Edmonton & area
🏫 41 new projects across the province = 38,500 new & renovated spaces
📢132 active school projects across Alberta

We’re working hard to turn permits into progress and get students into well-built schools ASAP!

The Alberta Advantage is back and booming. With this historic growth our schools are facing increased pressure. Alberta's government is taking immediate steps by providing an in-year funding boost of $30M to help our school divisions keep up.

A new high school is coming to north #yeg! Funding for the new Blessed Carlo Acutis high school was announced in Budget 2021. The new school will be home to 1,300 students, alleviating enrolment pressure at the Archbishop O'Leary High School. #BuildingSchools #abed
