So thrilled to have received my first poetry publication in print, in the UK magazine Mslexia. Thank you @Mslexia @jennaclake for choosing my poem for the Poison showcase. And well done to all the other writers who contributed @AmbreNicolson@poetalicewhite@BettyJDobson
Such a thrill to recieve a book in the post that contains 2 poems I wrote, especially when the book is full of such delicious noise. Beautiful issue! Would love to do an online event to meet the other poets and hear the sound poems read aloud. @NineArchesPress@_UnderTheRadar_

‘As with a poem, each patient is unique’: the cancer surgeon using poetry to help train doctors https://t.co/fHcFqj1tGg
Happy to hear that poetry about experiences with breast cancer has a practical application. @mslexia @yellowarrowpub @joaoluisbarreto @CarolineBirdUK
2022: the year I had a short story go viral. I'm grateful to all who read & shared. We even busted a server.

@kristajahnke@MkenWrites Great story. I loved the title, the layout, the quirkiness of the characters and the way they almost connect. I only noticed how the camera picture appeared when i scrolled back to the beginning, very cool.
Thank you @MissLizBerry and @poetrybusiness for the wonderful workshop on kisses in poetry. So dreamy, generous, intimate just like a Liz Berry poem. Opened new ways to approach writing and it felt very nuturing having the breakout rooms. Loved the Alice Coltrane exercise!
So happy to have my poem about Elizabeth Cotten out in the world. Thanks @InkSweatTears. The poem explores how music was a salve for me and also is a celebration of those exciting conversations with other female artists across centuries and continents.
Take the 'Freight Train' with Emma Gawlinski @EClinski today. For Elizabeth Cotten, (1893 -1987) American blues and folk musician, singer, and songwriter, and on https://t.co/O2QQbQ8EZp.
Gorgeous.
