If you are a first generation Mexican American ( both parents came from Mexico and youre the first born offspring in United States) do you go for your roots? Or for the country you where you were born?

When i go to mexico, they call me gringo/white boy because i was born in US even though i have mexican blood.

Here in my own country (US) where i was born and fully legal. Im called a wetback/beaner.
