CO₂ and climate make world greener
1982-2023 world added leaves with total area equivalent to 4x Contiguous US
Yes, climate net problem
but breathless reporting ignores global greening "highly credible evidence of anthropogenic climate change"

Having served with James nearly a decade in the Texas House, I can assure you this is who he really is. Don’t believe the middle-of-the-road “aw shucks” charade he is trying to sell you now. It’s a lie. He has never been bipartisan in the Texas House and the only thing he is well known for is excoriating his Republican colleagues from the front or back mic. Been there, had that exchange with him on SB14!!!
This PERFECTLY explains why ‘The Left’ is obsessed with being morally superior
“Did you ever ask yourself why it's always the weakest, least competent, and average IQ people who base their entire identity on morality and tolerance?”
Here’s the psychology behind it:
“Every human being carries the same deep drive to matter, to be respected, to reach something external, whether that's money, status, an attractive partner, or genuine skill at something. In the real world, all of these get measured through competence, strength, and intelligence, and that's exactly the problem for people who fall short on those measurements.
They still feel the drive, but they can't reach the goal, at least not to the degree others can, and unconsciously they experience the inferiority that comes with actual objective inferiority.
To avoid feeling useless and insignificant, they move the target. Instead of competence, the goal becomes being a good person, a goal defined entirely by them that requires no measurable skill, no competition, and no real work to declare victory in. This gets them the exact same feeling of accomplishment without ever having to develop any of the competence that would normally be required to earn it.
That's the path the weak and the incapable take because it's the only game left where they can still call themselves winners.”
You could spend 1000 years trying to come up with a better explanation for liberals and their mindset and you wouldn’t be able to, because this is it
If you fail at everything else, you simply make your entire life about being “morally superior”
The world is burning less
Despite breathless climate reporting of ever-more fire
Total area burned across the world has declined over past 125 years
By Aug 5, world has burned 42% less than normal (2012-25). We don't know the next five months, but extrapolating from the current 7 months, 2026 is on track to burn historically little
The century-long reduction is entirely uncontroversial, mostly because more people (humans don't want fire near their houses) and more agriculture (farmers don't want their crops on fire)
https://t.co/wDu9oa90Q5, https://t.co/MGFIDIHAvN
Alarmists: “World on fire!”
Reality: By Aug 5, global burned area likely never lower than 2026
Disasters in France, Spain & Canada are tragic—but climate is global. Cherry-picking isn’t science
Climate policy does near-nothing for fires
We need better fire policy (prescribed burns, let some burn) and better climate info

2026 Fire in Africa at record lows
Halfway through 2026, Africa has burned less than in any year 2012-25
Every continent is below average, and the Americas and Europe are at record lows
Media only showing stuff burning leaves us badly informed

Gov. Greg Abbott slams leftist Senate candidate James Talarico,
"Talarico is for boys in girls sports... Talarico is for defunding the police. He's for the Joe Biden open border policies. And get this, this is really going to rile up Texas voters... Talarico is in favor of a state income tax. That's outrageous!"
"And I can tell you right now, Republicans are going to win every statewide seat this November, and especially in that race against Talarico"

The state didn't force Austin or other cities into a contract. The cities signed a contract to get money from the state. After they got the money, the cities refused to comply with the contract terms. Those terms include a requirement that the cities repay the state all the money they got if they don't comply with the contract.
Enforcement of the contract doesn't defund police. I signed a law preventing defunding the police. Under that law the cities still have to fully fund their police--they just have to find other funds in their budgets to pay for it.
If the cities didn't like the contract terms, they should have never entered into it.
By the way, the contract is just one page, with clear requirements and consequences for failing to comply.
As to local control, entering into the contract was a local decision. Breaching the contract is a local decision.

The Biden administration actively flew illegals into America with no vetting of their violent criminal past into America and paid for their flights via NGOs.
This is a war crime. Mayorkas and his buddies orchestrated this and should be on trial for their diabolical deeds.
@TheFP Lefties do not oppose this war on principle. They oppose it because they hate our country. And they hate the people. But most of all, more than anything else, they despise themselves.
Imagine being Iran's leadership right now
You once were the feared boogie man of the Middle East. Instead, you get the complete shit kicked out of you for 5 weeks straight, your entire navy sunk, your supreme leader killed, and you FINALLY shoot down 1 plane
This is finally your moment. You can parade the pilot on TV and use him as negotiating leverage
But instead, Air Force Pararescue puts boots on the ground on your home turf, we basically build a whole patrol base including a Forward Air Refueling Point, kill hundreds of your dudes, something goes wrong with one of the C-130s at the FARP on our way out, we're not even cortisol spiked so we simply just fly in another plane and blow up the old one instead of even bothering to do any maintenance just because of how much money we have that we can simply buy a new plane
Good grief. I haven't seen a beatdown this bad since Will Stancil got molested by Grok. This is honestly embarrassing for the IRGC at this point. That was LITERALLY your home territory where you know all the terrain and have home field advantage, we have never done real boots on the ground operations in Iran before, and you still lost.
Everyone throw up the set right now
Kicking Bird, a Kiowa chief, circa 1870. Like the Comanches, the Kiowas were originally from the northern Great Plains, with earlier roots believed to be in the Yellowstone River region of present-day Montana. Also, like the Comanches, by the 17th and early 18th centuries, the Kiowa had migrated southward, eventually settling in the southern Plains—particularly in areas that are now western Oklahoma, Texas, and eastern New Mexico. Their adoption of the horse, introduced by the Spanish, transformed their society into a highly mobile, buffalo-hunting culture.
During the 18th and early 19th centuries, the Kiowa formed a powerful alliance with the Comanche and the Kiowa Apache (Plains Apache). This alliance dominated much of the southern Plains, controlling trade routes and conducting raids into northern Mexico and rival tribal territories. Kiowa society was organized around warrior traditions, seasonal buffalo hunts, and spiritual practices such as the Sun Dance, which played a central role in their cultural life.
The expansion of the United States and its settlers into the Plains in the mid-19th century brought increasing conflict. Following a series of military confrontations, including events associated with the Red River War, the Kiowa were ultimately forced onto a reservation in present-day Oklahoma. The war marked the end of their resistance to U.S. military control and the collapse of the free-ranging buffalo culture that had sustained them for generations.
As of 2012, there were only 20 people left who spoke the Kiowa language natively, as a first-language, with perhaps 80 individuals who spoke it as a second language. Since then, the situation has not been dramatically reversed, but it also has not collapsed completely. According to Omniglot, about 100 people speak Kiowa today, most over the age of 45, and the language is classified as severely endangered. However, efforts are being made to revitalize the language, including classes for children and adults. The University of Tulsa, the University of Oklahoma in Norman, and the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha offer Kiowa language classes, Kiowa hymns are sung at Mount Scott Kiowa United Methodist Church, and the Kiowa Tribe offers weekly language classes at the Jacobson House, a nonprofit Native American art center in Norman, Oklahoma. Here's hoping they are successful. It would be a shame to see it disappear forever.
As a medical school professor, I spent years teaching that Alzheimer's is an amyloid disease. A comprehensive new review in the Journal of Clinical Medicine confirms what I now believe: Alzheimer's is a metabolic disease.
Key findings from the evidence synthesis:
-> Glucose hypometabolism appears BEFORE amyloid plaques form
-> Insulin resistance accelerates cognitive decline and tau pathology
-> Mitochondrial dysfunction correlates with tau damage more than amyloid
-> Better muscle mitochondrial function = lower dementia risk
-> GLP-1 signaling restores brain glucose metabolism and reduces neuroinflammation
The review concludes: metabolic dysfunction, not amyloid, is the central driver.
Researchers call Alzheimer's "Type 3 Diabetes" because the pathways overlap so precisely.
This is exactly why I wrote "Lies I Taught in Medical School." The metabolic root cause of chronic disease has been staring us in the face.
Full breakdown coming on the Health Longevity Secrets podcast.
