@ThatARCGuy Anytime I hear anyone complain about "rats" I have to sit back and laugh till it hurts. People are so damn soft. It's the very nature of what the genre is, it's an extraction shooter, it's to be expected. People think rats are bad in arc, I invite you to go try tarkov.
I'm one of them, but it wasn't just because of the physical change. It's the fact that I'm tired of paying subscriptions to things that should be free, moved over to pc a few years back and gaming has never been better. People don't realize what they are leaving on the table with console gaming.
@ThatARCGuy Evidenced by the amount of people who quit due to "rats". They had the perfect formula, it was magic. Then they messed around too much and now we're here. They should have never made any change to the aggression matchmaking and should have never got rid of the surrender method.
@TheNerdZap@TimoTweetss That's how I found out. I turned my Xbox on and went to sign in and it told me the account doesn't exist. So then I tried to recover it, but there was no account to recover. So then I contacted Microsoft and they told me it's gone due to inactivity and can't be recovered.
@TheNerdZap@TimoTweetss Bingo. This is exactly what happened to me with my Xbox account. And they gave no warning, I didn't even know it happened till I went to use my Xbox again.
@GamingCentral26 Na, even if they added physical back I'm not buying a console for over a grand when I could put that into a pc and have a much much better experience.
This right here is the problem with digital only and everyone dick riding digital can suck one. @Microsoft and @XBOX did this to me 3 years ago. Thousands of dollars spent since the 360 and they up and deleted it without warning. My entire library and all DLC gone. When I contacted them about it, they told me to get bent nothing can be done.
PlayStation updated its Terms of Service in April 2026, and Section 21 outlines how inactive PSN accounts may be closed.
> If a PSN account remains inactive for 36 months, Sony may begin the account closure process. The account holder will receive an email notification and has 6 months to sign in or request that the account remain active.
> If no action is taken and the account is closed, access to PlayStation Network services will end.
>Any digital purchases tied to that account, including games, DLC, and other digital content, will no longer be accessible.
According to the Terms of Service, this process is irreversible.
@MickJayPlays@Sony Ask me how I know. Microsoft did it to me with my Xbox account, thousands down the drain. Contacted support, they told me to pound sand. Meanwhile I didn't log into my steam account for 10 years and everything was right where it should be.
