Welcome to the official twitter account of East of England Ambulance Service LGBT+ Network. Supporting our LGBT+ employees and equality, diversity & inclusion.
My final East of England #Pride event for 2023 and the legs are out in uniform for the first time - blame #Shortsgate and @HeyTomAbell! Great set up here at @HertsPRIDE with @EastEnglandAmb and @EEAST_LGBT. Looking forward to a fab day.
Thank you! 👏🏼

We are proud to be celebrating LGBT+ History Month here at EEAST.
If you didn’t know already, we have our LGBT+ Network, which regularly meets to focus on how the Trust can support LGBT+ staff.

So pleased with our @EastEnglandAmb LGBT+ Staff Support Network meeting tonight. Exec & Non exec representation, @NatAmbLGBTUK, our EDI team, @Magpas_Charity and numerous clinical and non clinical staff & volunteers coming together to improve patient care and employee experience.
The NHS in the EEAST region is currently under extreme pressure – if you need to contact us because of a life-threatening condition or serious injury, please call us on 999. For all other calls, please go to 111, your GP or a minor injury centre.
We cannot provide you with an ETA for an ambulance.
Please only call back if the patient’s condition has changed. If you do need to call us back, please tell us at the start of the call that you have called before.
We’re very busy and trying to get to our sickest patients.
Our service is under extreme pressure. Ambulances delayed outside hospitals & high call volumes. We have increased our escalation state across the Trust. Please support us by using our services wisely & only calling for life-threatening illnesses & injuries
Think before you park. Can an emergency vehicle get through in an emergency?
Please make sure you leave enough space for our ambulances and other blue light colleagues are able to pass you 🚑
