Winter sections 2021Z, 2030Z, 3101Z, 3221Z, and 3311Z have had a number of seat reservations reallocated to allow additional Computer Science and Security students to enroll.
Due to unmet demand for these courses, the Department has created a 2nd section of 4413 (Section B) in F22 and a new section of 4441 (Section M) in W23. Both new sections are now open to enrollment.
We have reallocated a number of seats in a few Software Engineering 4th year courses (4313E F22, 4313Z W23, and 4314Z W23) to be accessible to more students in the Department should they wish to enroll
A large number of schedule, term, and course changes were finalized for Fall/Winter 2022-23 late last week. These changes are now reflected on the Courses Website and in VSB.
EECS 4421 (Intro to Robotics) has been cancelled in the SU22 term due to the assigned instructor being unable to teach. EECS 4404 (Intro to ML) will run in place of 4421.
Both EECS 3311 and EECS 4421 will be added to our SU22 Offerings. The 3311 offering will be only available to CS and Security students, unfortunately. These courses should be added to the schedule by the end of the week.
The Department has added a new section of EECS 4312 (Software Engineering Requirements), Section X, in the W22 term. This section is, like Section Z, an engineering section. This section replaces Section E, which was cancelled before the F21 term.
The Department has added a new course in the W22 term: EECS 4414M (Information Networks). The course will be instructed by Manos Papangelis. CAT# E80P01
Unfortunately, EECS 4443A F21 has been cancelled due to a lack of suitable instructor being available. This course's Winter 2022 section (M) will run as scheduled.
A new section of EECS 4404 (Introduction to Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition) has been created in the Winter 2022 semester, Section N. CAT# K21D01
Unfortunately, due to a lack of available instructors, EECS 3602E and 4302A (both F21) have been cancelled. Please contact the Department if you require assistance replacing one of these courses.
The Department has set up this webpage containing additional information on the delivery of EECS courses in the Fall 2021 semester: https://t.co/WQLQ8Cztlu
Some new space was created in most Winter 2021 courses overnight, including many 4000-level courses, after enlargements and prerequisite drops took effect
